Out-do Epoch?

So when will someone make a mod that will out-do Epoch? :P :P 

Apart from that silly random question, I want to give my opinions on Epoch.

I enjoy Epoch, but I think it gets way more credit than what it's worth. Kinda like Skrillex, ;). Mods like Origins, and DayZERO should get a lot more credit. DayZERO in particular, editing sounds, UI bar, and optimizing performance sounds good to me. I don't know much about coding and such, but I can guess optimizing DayZ's performance wasn't too easy. I like Epoch but I'd just like to see a mod come out of the woodwork and out-do Epoch :). 

What are your opinions on Epoch? And what mod do you think should get more credit?

I like Epoch ok. It's a bit easy for my taste. It's gotten better since they added.the hard hitting Z's but there are too few z's in general. That said, it's what's running on my server as it draws people in. BTW, Epoch runs way smoother than vanilla on my server now so I'd say theres been some optimization going on there.

 

Also, origins should be shit on every chance we get. Can't speak for DayZero as I'm not trying any more mods of the mod.

 

What will out-do Epoch? I don't think anything will at this point. Epoch's been getting better and better and hopefully the SA will be the next great thing.

Oh no here comes the "go to epoch forums for that we hate epoch and fun". Anyway I enjoy Epoch and I host an Epoch server that has nothing added except AI missions, its no different than vanilla except you can trade and AI bandits hand your ass to you every ten minutes.

Ive gone off arma2, i just couldnt get back into it once arma 3 started running sweet, my boy loves epoch though... but i cant comment. But i have to say breaking point for arma 3 is a good mod... Its been well done and runs well, there are things i dont like about it sure, but i gotta give props to the mod team of it. Well worth checking out if youve got some time.

You should definitely, it's optimized for better performance, better sounds, and UI and other minor changes.

Plus they said they're gonna try and add base building.

Epoch isn't that great in my OPINION hence opinion.

dayz namalsk and pnathera mod isbwhere its at. Namalsk is the greatest in my opinion.

Namalsk vanilla dayz was amazing, best dayz experience in my opinion. 

 

Origins was pretty good, Epoch is not bad. However when namalsk is where all the fun was at. Guns were everywhere but food was unbeleivably rare.
