My FPS

Hi, my setup is currently:

 

CPU: Intel Core i3-3220 3.3GHz Dual-Core Processor

Video Card: XFX Radeon HD 7850 1GB Video Card

8GB RAM

 

I've been getting around 16-24 FPS when I play DayZ. Does this seem the right amount or is there a problem?

Hello there

 

Arma/dayz is very tough on most hardware depending on settings and ones' in world location.

 

Other factors, for eg the server you use, can also limit/lower FPS.

 

24-30fps has always been the norm for me on a mid level system, although others seem to be able to get higher rates.

 

So, whilst I dont think there is a *problem* per se, there may well be some tweaking/adjusting you may need to tackle in your settings.

They're all pretty low, i've looked at the recommended setting and when i use them my FPS drops to about 10.

Then i suggest to buy a better computer to run dayz. dayz isn't the best game to get fps like what orlok said

well when they ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ GIVE SA hopefully it will be optimized and run at at least 15+ fps on low for computers like yours

keep dreaming, SA will never come out.

 

as you see, dayz is dying a slow death ,and other mods like epoch are way more popular.

 

dayz had its chance, but its popularity is fading fast,
