Hey guys that still doesn't work, i am getting really frustrated my res is set to 100% 1280X720X32 and it still looks like shit. Please i really need this fixed! i can't see anything!!!!!!!!!!

So i just jumped on to a 1ST person only server when my head starts to bob to much so i went to lower it. When i went to lower the bobbing i accidentally switched my game to windows mode and when i switched it back all the items look horrible, the game, weapons, everything! all of the setting are on normal-high and i can run the game smoothly, just the items and the game look like shit. any suggestions? As you can see in the photo's it shows really bad quality (again everything is on normal-high in my settings) The 3RD photo is a picture taken before the items and the game turned into bad quality.

So my buddy told me to go on steam and search up dayz, i asked him why and he said you'll be surprised. so long behold after i searched it up, there it was. Dayz for $29.99 USD. what are your thoughts about the official dayz game. (Btw its in alpha so please be patient, they are working on it to make it better)

Then i suggest to buy a better computer to run dayz. dayz isn't the best game to get fps like what orlok said

i did try all of my usb ports, the computer is only 200+ days old, it hasn't even reached 300, it is a usb mouse and keyboard

Guys, i really need help on this, recently i have bought my computer which should be this one: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/asus-desktop-8gb-memory-1tb-hard-drive/6957737.p?id=1218817157052&skuId=6957737#tab=overview (there should be some of the stats) and my mouse has been freezing alot, it turns on and off (does it a whole lot faster and more when i play games such as dayz skyrim tf2 cs s) once my mouse freezes enough times, my keyboard locks up, it wont type anything it wont do anything, i tried blowing out the dust from my computer and from the usb ports, but it still does it. i had suggestions about a virus that affects the mouse and keyboard, my gpu is under powered (nivida gtx 630) my computer still works when both the mouse and the keyboard freezes, it makes sounds and i see everyone else running around shooting each other with a face full of lead, it gets frustrating, i cant play any of the games i paid for anymore, if you know what has happened please tell me step by step how to fix it, i'm not that smart with computers. it took me 4 times to type this thread in because my keyboard keeps freezing!!!!! >:(

I do love no pvp servers, i'm not the type of survivor that shoots on sight for another players stuff that he worked long and hard for, it just makes you feel bad (unless he shots at you first). Yes there is also threat such as zombies or ai's, they are a big threat, ai's tend to get more powerful the farther north you go, some will be heavily armed and have great shots. it really is hard to kill a group of 6 ai's all by yourself, but it is fun to play with your friends against ai's.

have you tried lowing the graphic settings of the game?

i do wish they add horses to the game seeing that cars are hard to find and rebuild, but you need required items to tame a horse, like a saddle (when you kill a cow you get leather and use other tools to make it a saddle) and a few pieces of food (fruits/vegetables) to show the horse that you are not threatening, but after you tame the horse you need to feed it, care for it, and give it water, which it might be a little bit tougher than owning a car.

I do agree that bears & mnt lions should be rare to encounter, i also agree that you can you parts of the animals to your advantage. Like the game from red dead redemption where if you kill an animal and gut it, you should get its meat, its fur, and a little less common item such as a bears tooth that you can make tools out of. last thing i thought of was how well do you receive the meat, if you use a hunting rifle like the CZ and hit it center mass you should get 7/9 or 8/9 pieces of meat (using a bear as an example of the quantities of meat it contains) but if you use a shot gun then you may only get 3/9 pieces of meat because all of the bullets and gunpowder going into the animal destroyed a majority of the meat it contains ( cause who wants to eat turkey on thanksgiving when they turkey has 6 fucking bullets in it).

So for a long time i have been wondering if DayZ will add new animals to the game, such as Bears, foxes, wolfs, cougars, mt. lions, etc... and aswell as the same animals. but this time i'd like for them to react to your actions. Like a bear will attack you if you get within a certain distance from it or startle it, or it will try to run away and make noises that nearby players and zombies will hear. i'd also like to make the sheep shaveable so you can make tents from its wool. Another thing i had an idea of is baby animals, a mother fox traveling with baby foxes and the mother will defend it no matter what cost. Last thing is breeding, if for whatever reason DayZ SA will include house building then make a farm and get one of the 5 basic farm animals (Sheep, cow, goat, pig, and chicken) and make a pen for them to breed over time. If they were to add anything of what i said in this thread, Dayz will be a bit more challenging than ever and i'll also change your mind about wandering around the forest. B)

try lowering the settings of dayz? like put the graphics on low, shadow off, etc...
