I also think they need to rework the bleeding and/or breathing animations/effects/whatever. 

I agree. those fountains look silly. But in the stream it was mentioned that the graphic designers want to totally redo the particle effects. im not sure whether blood falls into this area, but im confident the devs will cover this aspect anyway after consolidating the foundation.
