Rangerfinder is a must have in my opinion. especially if you have bulletdrop and this bullet shot-fly-time-thing.

 

if they dont want it directly on a sniper scope then plz put it on the telescope so u have more fun in a team :D

Why don't I like the payday masks?

Because OVERKILL is a scummy joke of a developer who has lied and backtracked around every corner in terms of the launch content of payday 2, and I don't want to be reminded of that shit while in another game. 



Not something you should want to associate with. Not to mention the new microtransaction 'DLC' weapon pack that makes what should have been free common sense updates a $5 ripoff.

 Great idea. Absolutely piss poor execution due to developers who only see green... You have no idea how censored their steam forum was...


*Missing safe house customization...  

*Terrible level count (6 heists on the same map doesn't count as "different" heists -- we like to call that lazy ass game development) padded out via crimenet...

*Arbitrary weapon restrictions in inventory, arbitrary mask restrictions -- absolutely mind boggling...

*Random drops to pad replay-ability, without the ability for the system to detect what you already have -- leading to ridiculous multiples of the same single weapon attachment...

*The final straw for me is when people complained there was nothing to do with all the excess money they had (which would have and should have been spent on safe house upgrades and such) so they nerfed the payouts instead of adding worthwhile content to spend it on.

As much of a Dayz fan as I am, I will not buy it if it's showing support to overkill/starbreeze. I don't care if their great people IRL, their practices SUCK.

:( A lot of people who pre-ordered feel the same way. Would be like if Dean advertised basebuilding and a chernarus that was twice as big on alpha release and people bought it, only to find out there is no base building and all the new parts of the map are copied an pasted locations that already exist (IE two elektros laid out the same).

Game invokes nothing but unpleasantness in my mind, due to it's practices. Every design choice was and has been made to artificially pad the perceived content.  

As for dayz -- They can easily change those masks to a straight kevlar/ballistic mask without the payday pandering.

Just going to have to forget about Payday and focus on SA.  Sure you might see a few masks, but is it really worth not playing the SA?  Nahhh.  

You just see the whole thing in a wrong way... just shoot at all who is wearing a payday mask xD so you have a valid reasaon why u killed them ;)

hmmm... 

Still serves as a free cross promotion for payday though. 

Any FPS that makes you physically pay money for grenades and a select fire option needs to be avoided like the plague -- especially when said game claims it will never have microtransactions on multiple occasions...

Ok, than something like for holding the breath longer. There a thousand of ideas, i don't like it if a starter is lucky and finds a sniper rifle and than hunts down full geared players. But yeah that's DayZ ;D

I hope they have weapon sway like in arma 3(so stance is important)... as much as that recieves much rage, it makes shooting a bit more skillful.. but that should be more a player learning to cope with that... thats what real shooting is, everyone will sway standing unsupported, but a good shot will pull the trigger at the right time. I dont like the idea o holding breath longer... its gamer rubbish, when you are shooting, you use your breathing to control point o aim, ,exhaling to bring aim onto target, and hold "briefly" while squeezing trigger, when you have desired sight picture... holding breath for any time, increases heart rate, and messes with yah vision.

 

 Stuff like developing an immune system etc makes sense, thats cool, making a skill system  like skyrim, not so cool.

Even a skill system that is not directly visible would suck. increased immunity after you have successfully cured a disease would make sense though

Yes, that'd be awesome.

Lighter guns should have less sway and be easier to fire from any position.

this video is from arma III, dayz mod, the gun sounds in the begining where a gun fight breaks out sounds, so real, and make things more intense, really cant wait to (hear) what they do with the sa in the future ;D

Dang it, every time I'm forced to be away from the forums for a few days, I have this hope that the game will have come out upon my return.

 

Keep up the good work dudes. I haven't read back through everything but is there any word on the doppleganger bug?

as i said before shooting guns should never be in this "skill system". As i said shooting is allready dependant of player skills. Also if the idea is to make KoS less of a "thing" including shooting weapons on the "skill system" would do the opposite in my opinion. making bandits a lot more OP and leaving new players defenseless. I mean its allready bad that the bandit has better gear, that the same bandit is hunting fresh spawns. making shooting weapons be even harder for the fresh spawn compared to the bandit would leave him with 0 chance of survival.
