Can we start a payback for Dean?

I seriously want one of the community staff members or someone that knows him to start up a kickstarter, or something along those lines. I would like to give back, more than just buying the game. He has been one of the most compasionate and most inspirational developer I have ever seen. ( That's not said easily by me ) Can someone make this possible, so that all funds go to Dean, and the DayZ staff? I want to give back, and I feel like some of the community does too.

Ah, so you just want to donate straight to him. well thats very different to a kickstarter. And seriously i doubt he would accept it, he's said before even when the mod first came out that he didn't want to accept donations.

 

Personally i think the best way to reward him and the rest of the team is to help them make a great game by giving good feedback when the alpha comes out.

Even if. He's a really great developer, and one of the best i've seen. 

Im kinda going on and on about this, but I seriously do feel like he still deserves more than just that. He has made me have some of the happiest days because of DayZ.

Its commendable that you want to show your appreciation, but try to look at it this way, if i was game developer and i had a choice between receiving £20 or having that same money spent buying my game i'd much rather they bought the game because every sale goes towards the games success more success means more control over future projects and an overall more rewarding career.

Philosophy values. Maybe he would feel more rewarded with good critics and reviews than with money. For some people, money is just... money.

With so many people complaining about the release date and such, I'm sure he would be really glad to hear something like "The wait was worth it".
