Zombies should run inside. So that way even if you try to go in a back corner of a building to bandage, you're not necessarily safe and you still have a risk of getting hit,

I dont think they will, I see what you mean and it would be rather interesting. But the zombie floor mapping thing isnt going to allow it I do believe, they would be clipping through walls.

They've confirmed zombies will run indoors, and they're working on the wall issue with zombies (zombies only detect floor so they 'cut' the floor where the wall is or some such)

I'm pretty sure in the mod they already leap around indoors. I'm often surprised by one literally jumping me indoors or running a short distance in barns or warehouses. Maybe it's just a glitch.

But they still detect and try to attack you through floors and not just through through walls, pretty obvious when you fight them in staircases.
