it took him 4 shots with an m16 to kill that goat and before he even had time to butcher it 3 zeds were on him and he was forced to flee empty handed, through the barn and up the hill. Straight to where I was hidden.

 

'Nice work there, with the goat hunt' I said in direct

'hello?' came the response, he sounded confused.

'good to know' were the last words he heard, unless you'd describe a burst of the mk48's gunfire as a language, I certainly meant something when I pressed down on the mouse button.

 

whatever you want to call it, it is fair to say that for our hapless hunter at least the penny certainly dropped, as did he, onto the grass, food for the worms.

I dont even have to read these stories to know how they end. Someone being shot to death and described with a stream of words. And the titles...could be more polite. Not everyone is pro gamer at Dayz at the beginning.

Fine for me if you play the game to murder people but you could add some finesy (correct?). Make act of murder an art. Do it with style, plan it all good. Satisfaction from succeding something like this will be a superior feeling to the one when you kill someone just like bam bam bam. He died. Nice.

I think the worst thing I have ever done was kill two guys I was in voice chat with. They had HIGH end shit and I really wanted it. all I had was my RPK and a 75round mag. I couldent bring my self to do it.. I just kept thinking "Well James.. you can do it.. just shoot em and get it over with before you become friends.. DO IT". So they went into a medical tent like the ones in stary ( I was playing DayZero and there is a few of em at green mountain). I said guys I'll be right back. got off their TS and tabbed back into the game.. Closed my eyes and sprayed the tent with all 75 bullets. I felt like a monster but at the end of the day I felt great.

 

Edit- I did follow a noob out of NEAF once to his camp at Willow lake and was playing creepy sounds and noises LOL. Clueless turd.

About 2 months before I bought the game I started watching Jackfrags and FrankieonPC. Since I startd playing the game Ive watched almost every DayZ vid I could find, including videos from when the game first came out.

 

In the vids from the early DayZ there were still people PvPing like crazy and there was no mentions of hold ups.

 

Im starting to think these "Hold up dayz" are a myth lol.

 

Its even unlogical really. If you die you lose your gear, if you live the banits take your gear and you lose it anyway so why would it matter? Either way the person will be in a situation in which they are starting over so I am sure most would try to hang on to thier gear.

It seems its always been like that tho.

 

If someone is being held up then one af three things can happen. 1) They will lose their gear to bandits, 2) They can fight back or run, be killed and still lose their gear to bandits or 3) They can fight back or run and just possibly get away.

 

If someone has a two week old character and all their favorite gear what do you think they would do? If they are going to essentially start over they will likely take thier chances.

 

Even if you watch FrankionPC when he holds peopel up, he has to shoot a lot of them. And he likely would of had to shoot many more if the people werent surprised by hearing FrankieonPC's voice out of no where.
