Sugar Jakobs 20 Posted October 19, 2013 Hey everyone, Aussie survivor here. Trying my hand at the mod again after a huge hiatus, though first time on the forums. Not too sure if this is the right place for a post like this, but I suppose it still gets the message across! Mainly sticking to US servers that give me ping around the 200s, so perhaps if you hear a suave, charming and very gentlemanly accent come over the local chat - it might be me! Sugar Jakobs 20 Posted October 19, 2013 I find that this game relies more on positioning than split-second decision-making. 200 ping is fine for that, I find :] I don't much like playing with other Australians, as they often don't have fun accents! As for shooting you on the server you frequent, I'll have to humbly decline; I'm doing a hero run. Max Planck 7174 Posted October 19, 2013 (edited) DayZ Origins is sort of a mod of the mod, but I have never played it so I don't really know what it's about. It has a site though. DayZ is the original mod, sometimes called 'vanilla' to differentiate it from the modmods. I would recommend playing vanilla first, the latest updates has been really excellent and there is more to come. At the moment there aren't many people online, but I've met both friendly and less friendly people there in the past. I mostly run around way up north, so I don't meet people that often. callsignBravo (DayZ) 323 Posted October 20, 2013 welcome, if you are playing epoch come and play breakinggood epoch its a great server and has a great community exept for a guy called ilikedickintheass and his group. me and my guys fucked them up. but its a great server come and join us.
