The reason Dean has been absent from his Twitter is because he has been forced to put a lot of time into the few remaining parts that need to be worked on. This is taken from his Twitter: Realize the lack of #DayZDaily updates from me annoys some people. But I've taken a break from forums/reddit/life for the final lap. cu soon So, this means game will be released probably somewhere in October, probably mid or end October. We all know the publisher (Bohemia Interactive) wants to stall the release, and it's quite obvious. Considering that I've put well over 200 hours into the mod, most of those back in the dayz when gates would crush your legs, items disappeared constantly, vehicles were literally impossible to find, connecting to a server could take nearly 30 minutes, ect, ect...
