Can I Run DayZ Mod? (POST HERE)

Recommended Posts

that gfx card is holding you back

your i7 is fine.

if you wanted to play on high with excellent fps, you would need to overclock to 4.0ghz + (with water cooling)

and change that video card

I think the gt 530 is so poor you wont be playable on high with anything over 15-20 fps.

The desktop machine will just about run it, but could do with a new graphics card. The laptop will really struggle because of the CPU.

again, the #1 improvement for most people would be taking there i3/i5 over 4.0ghz and you will see some amazing fps increases.

so simple to do with a cheap all in 1 water cooler for $50

but only if you have a reasonable gfx car, like gtx 460, 560+

8gb RAM

1tb hard drive

Radeon HD 8330 graphics card with 3.98gb memory

Can honestly say you wouldn't be able to play it quite well..

Take a look at the minimum specs for ARMA 2: OA

None. You won't have any of the FPSs.

CPU is quite slow, you may be only getting <15 FPS on lowest possible settings.

Yes, it will.

That's a mighty fine rig, care to share how much you paid for it?

I assume that your "question" is sarcastic. If it isn’t, I’d be very surprised if you have frame rate issues.

Similar rig to mine, except I have an i5, Windows 7 and your GFX card is slightly better.

I can run DayZ maxed out (or as maxed out as DayZ lets you) and I've never gone anywhere under 40FPS.
