What has happened to the people who look for challenge? Do the majority of the community really want 1000's of vehicles? starting weapons and attack choppers?
A unpenetrable stronghold with hundreds of itemslots? What has happened to the seek of immersive survival game?
A second after a patch that made you do a little more than just "lol I run thru zombies" there is a massive outcry that "this is too hard wtf fix this!"
If the standalone will be the way rocket is saying I just hope it will push the players who wants cookies before work away from the game.

 

And I know this is me pushing my hand in fire, bash me to the ground if you like but surely there are some people that think like this too :D

I love the new patch, due to its difficulty. Ridiculous infection rates make it enjoyable, for it is a challenge.

I agree...

But I hate the infection rates...

I do agree with Inception though...

You're going to do fine in the community though, you speak your thoughts...

So you people did let zombies hit you before this patch? You say you need to be more cautious now eh? how that is ridiculous? I know it is a bit harsh for the new players, but for the experienced players it is just a bonus challenge really, I mean c'mon don't say you let the zombies come so close to you that they can hit you all the time :P

I play Overwatch instead. This meaning: i played Overwatch until some restart cleared my gear and my vehicle.

Long live Vanilla DayZ.

I really love the new patch. Finding loot on doorsteps is awesome. My first ghillie shuit was found on one :D

some guys show too much fear :o  fear for lose gear :o  fear from zeds :o  fear of work harder for rewards :o

 

 These guys play private hive bullshit server with 1000's vehicles and donate for weapon shit :thumbsup:

 

is good, I don't want to see this guys when I play, they stay away from main hive and make pretend they play real dayz , when standalone come is big shock coming for pussy guys :D

basically 99 percent of servers are spawn with everything but a nuke. often results in sme low just sitting off a bech sniping people till the next new spawn with his whatever given gun shoots him takes his spot. rinse repeat.

 

i play a little on servers i know are legit but admin tool abuse has almost stopped me playing it as most on private servers do abuse it and easy to see them doing it.

 

 

this is the main reason i want standalone out so i can play freely again without being tracked live round map as it should be in the first place.

I couldn't agree with you more...  Zombies were a total non-factor prior to the update.

 

I had actually gotten in to the habit of letting the first zombie I see chew on me for a little bit to bring my health down to about half, just for the "challenge".  (Though I would still almost always die to a player, never anything else).

 

Now my primary objective is to not take a single hit from a zed... and it feels right to me... it feels like it did when I first started playing almost a year ago. I even had to go prone and crawl across a roadway while checking to make sure I wasn't in a zeds line of sight.

 

I've seen a lot of people complaining about how they have to "crawl around for hours in the mud just to find a bunch of useless garbage".  I believe these people have not really pushed their own limits of zombie avoidance, experimented with line of sight and sound distance, or practiced losing zombies in as many different ways as possible.

 

I can almost guarantee that 90% of the people complaining have never thrown a can or smoke to draw zombies away from an area.

And they're so used to CoD and L4D that they don't have the patience to LEARN how to survive...
