Fuzzy Wolfy 41 Posted June 22, 2013 (edited) Minor idea that I just wanted to throw out in the open and get some reactions to.As you can tell by the title, this isn't an idea for the game itself as much as it is for the website that's all about said game.The idea? A public chat room.Why not have a little chat window open at the bottom of the forums where people can just pop in and say or participate in conversations. Something to connect the DayZ fan base without needing IM's or Steam groups - because god damn we've got enough of those. We can get pretty wordy here, it'd be nice to be able to explain things live and not type out these essays and hope someone reads them.And just hang out. Rage VG 4033 Posted June 22, 2013 (edited) I have already suggested an official one to Matt but he felt that people would abuse it when moderators were not online.If people really want this unofficially, though, I could totally go make a Xat chatroom for peeps. I'd have to put it on protected mode whenever there are no mods, though. Which means anyone who is not classed as a "member" (which would probably be given to people above a certain post count, as this would prove they can post consistently within the rules) cannot talk. Any Administrator can turn this off whilst they are there so everyone can talk.On that note, what ever happened to the Steam group chatroom?
