Need to make as much posts as possible to let you know this NEEEEEEDS to be in dayZ or atleast REMOVED FROM THE BANNED WEAPON LISTTT.

all in one - sick ass sniper that replaces the as50 and m107 , with changes or not , its a beast sniper , bolt action , meaning no spam , still damages vehicles , looks awesome , IS AWESOME

Adding this or removing it from the banned weapon will make me play dayz so much more and i'll enjoy it more. Thank you , Thank you sir..

I think it's somewhat ridiculous it's banned. Private hives can't have it without rMod? Why the hell not?

They just need to make it so you can use it , even without rMod , also people cant complain about it being OP , even since its one hit kill , ya'll know why its not OP...We need a powerfull sniper rifle , instead of some weird sounding m24 or dmr lol

Since the only snipers in the game would sound the same then , unless they change the sounds , still doesnt makes up for removal of lapua tho! :D

They posted a video about wind being implemented later in dayZ , this guy thinks it's impossible to hit shots from 800meters with wind , not impossible ,you just need to know that you dont directly put your scope on the guy.

I think the game is far better without one shot sniper rifles , it has no need for them .

But if they are to be in the game , so rare , you wouldn't even bother thinking about them .

You certainly shouldn't play the game "for" them .

Meh. All the scoped guns should be potential "one shot" sniper rifles.

Head shots should almost always kill , but as in life , sometimes people get lucky .

If somehow vital organs are included in the health system , body shots could result in one shot deaths also .

Getting one shot in the toe and dying , is obviously pretty dumb .

True, unfortunately the skeleton has no organ hitboxes right now... adding those would add realism as well as gameplay balance, IMO.

So you're saying getting shot 7 times in your foot by a DMR is not gay? Very well then , if we're looking at it from this point , you shouldnt die from any sniper rifle.. Oh I agree on that though

Which is why we need redone ballistics in Dayz that add wind as a factor for bullet flight.

It isn't about one hit kill weapons, if it was you would have to ban every weapon in the game since they can also kill with one hit. It's the way they are used, mostly to boost someones ego that he is theüberl337 snip0rz who can kill fresh spanws at the coast or kill unsuspecting players ( mostly at long ranges ) although he doesn't need to...there are more reasons...these are two major ones.

Yup, any number of shots to the feet. It should only make you bleed to death / in severe pain / shock, not instantly kill you. Force people to aim better too.
