Norton Thinks BattlEye is a Virus

Recommended Posts

The game plays perfectly fine, but when I log off, I get a notification from everyone's favorite virus protection software saying that it blocked a "High" threat level virus. "Alright, Cool," I say. "What is it?" Then I look at my security history and I see dozens on dozens of entries all of them saying that my computer was protected from "BEClient.dll". Dwaaaa? The heck is all this!? Is there a way I can white-list BatlleEye, or something? Thanks in advance.

Why the hell do you still have Norton installed? Regardless, disabling Norton should work. OR open it up, go into threat protection, and in there set an exception.

I dealt with this literally just yesterday.

I fixed it by making an exception to it.

Try this: http://answers.yahoo...16145049AAkErEk

Edit: my friend with norton just had the same issue, somethings going on.

Uninstall that crap and go with AVG. Much less intrusive, and free.

I had the same problem. Just disable Norton until BE finished whatever the hell it's doing and you're fine.
