dulix11 731 Posted March 25, 2013 (edited) Just some ideas I thought of, please comment.Vehicle towing: If you have a chain and a toolbox in your inventory, there would be an option saying 'tow vehicle'. You would have to back the vehicle you want to tow behind the other vehicle and then select it. Doing so would remove the chain from your inventory.When towing a vehicle, the main car cannot perform sharp turns or the chain will break and detach the car. The main car will also be very slow if it is pulling a bus or truck. Obviously, if you are in a truck or bus towing a car, you will go faster than the other way around.More signs of a zombie apocalypse: Things like car-barricades, blood trails, TVs broadcasting a looping video of people running to camps with a headline 'Please head to the nearest city immediately' or 'Infectious outbreak, stay inside!'.Better zombies: Yeah, I know, its been asked for a thousand times, but I want to put my ideas across:- Zombies should do more damage, but not like insta-bone breakage and superman KO punches; I mean like more blood loss when they damage you.- They should be slower, and not be so determined. I get it, they want your flesh but they shouldn't chase you across the map. It gets frustrating.- Different type of zombies, not like exploding ones or 4 legged ones that vomit on you, but ones that might have a higher chance of giving you a disease, or dealing more damage. Even ones that have physical handicaps, like missing legs, meaning they can only crawl, or missing arms, meaning they can't deal as much damage, but can still bite your head off.Different types of crash sites: I made a thread about this, that didn't get alot of attention. My idea is that there would be 3 categories of aircraft: Civilian, military and cargo. There would also be crashed jets like C-130s and F35s. Crashed jets would be rarer, and drop rarer loot. There would be a maximum of 4-5 wrecks on the server until restart.Civilian planes are just transport and would drop clothing and food/beverages.Military would drop rare weapons and backpacks.Cargo would drop food and beverages as well as a small chance of backpacks.The ability to remove weapons from vehicle: Doing this would require a toolbox to remove weapons, and to install them would require a toolbox and some scrap metal.There should be more to hospitals: Not just one floor that is accsesible by shooting out the windows. There should be staircases leading to operating rooms that have been taped off, patients in hospital beds surrounded by blood. (see No. 2)Thanks. Zombies chasing you is you doing something wrong. Stripping vehicles for useful parts too.6) No, not more hospitals, in real life they arent around every corner either. It would be cool if everything that moves in the game left a trail. The trail would be more pronounced and last longer based on the speed, weight, size of the object. Do agree on the more visual things and rooms etc.While I agree with no more hosipitals I think we should have more medical clinics and small buildings that once housed a doctor of some kind. Chernarus has many areas which are fairly remote and I doubt an ambulance would be able to quickly get to one of these villages quickly, so how about having some areas that were perhaps a small doctors clinic, vet or dentist. These places could provide a place to find medical loot besides hosipitals, just lower in number and types of loot found (No morphines or epi-pens but bandages, painkillers and a rare chance of anti-biotics)They should make it so the crashes Dont spawn, they actually crash so you see like a flaming/smoking plane above and it actually crashes at a random destination that would be so awesome seeing a AC-130 just dive overhead and crash in a nearby forest, potentially taking out trees and changing the landscape.You should add this into your thread OP - if you like the idea as much as I do.The limit could be like 5-6 crashes on the map that happen at random times and on server restart it happens again (cleaning the previous crashes of coarse)I'd like to see maybe one or two plane crashes that seem fairly old though, I remember seeing a screenshot where a plane had crashed into a diner and it looked fairly old and decrepid, it also adds more to the feel that there was a zombie apocalypse at some point. Maybe have that as well as perhaps an old rusted out world war 2 fighter or bomber that can be found somewhere in chernarus's giant woods and forests Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Sakka 28 Posted March 26, 2013 I agree with most everything the OP said. Nice work and easy reading. Only thing I don't like is about the zombies chasing you across the map. I believe that a z would behave like that, trying to do whatever to get to that food. I would like to see a crashed plane at the bottom of one of the bigger lakes. It would look sweet and could definitely be a nod to the book "Hatchet." Which kind of takes me to another topic. You should be able to find birds eggs in bird nests in some trees that you can eat.
