New CD key, still banned

Recommended Posts

Hey.

So I share my PC with my roommate and he got my dayz acc banned on some server, and also got a global ban. I made him buy me a new AO key, so battleeye is sorted, but why am I still banned from the servers? Are those bans bound to IP adresses? Do I need to talk to specific server admins?

if you bought a key from anyone unsavory then it may also be banned i would recommend buying a fresh game

First run steam as admin. If that doesn't work, you may have to delete your old CD key. Google how to do it, I'm not completely sure how.

Did you remove the scripts or key stealer off of your computer that got you banned in the first place? Or did you just buy a new game without doing that?

I believe everyone who has posted so far hasn't provided a solution that works.

Good. Because I don't want to risk a possible hacker getting back into the game. (Be it the OP or his "roommate.")

That is because the only solution is getting a new IP from my ISP and possibly reinstalling the game, so don't act like some bigshot who knows more than everyone else. I don't feel like explaining myself to you, but you do seem like a proper little cunt. So here is a free tip just for you, and I suggest you remember it well: don't speak unless you have something smart to say.

I have a lot of smart things to say, and I KNOW that I have a solution that works without you having to change your IP. It's not a complicated process, far from. But the amount of hackers already polluting the mod, I've no desire to help those that had their CD-key banned by BattlEye.

Thank you for making yourself look like some mentally immature person. I never insulted you, so why would you do so to me? I think that makes you more of a "cunt" than I am for not wanting to even accidentally help a hacker back into the game. And unlike you, I'm willing to debate, rather than just stating "oh, you're just this and that and I won't bother with you."

Edit; If you want to go around throwing around insults, then at least pick someone who can be insulted. Because right now, you've come to these forums only to ask help on how to get unbanned from a game you got banned from. Me? I've helped this community, the mod's development, and several people having issues even getting into the game. Want an example? http://steamcommunity.com/app/33930/discussions/1/864961175465159223/

Before you come commenting back to me with another insult, find something good that you've done for people and their issues, with proof.
