CZ 550

Recommended Posts

To add to this, ammo is basically non existent from my experience.

If I look back at how often I found the cz550 the last few month, I'd say the cz550 is almost non existent too.

Like it would be IRL in Chernarus, but so would all the other snipers, especially considering the DMR (and I think the M24) are US WEAPONS... FFS....

Twoud not be rare. CZ 400-5 models are some of the most common civilian rifles in the world but finding a random gun out of nowhere...

I find it often, look in farms/barn loots. Use DayZDB and plan a high loot run. Centeral East towns/farms map and Kemenka to Vybor -> South of NWA High Yield Barn will get you one. Thats my CZ loot cycle run...the only gun i have a specific run for.

No doubt it's a classy gun.

Yeah I like both rifles both good as long as your somewhat decent at estimating range you don't need a range finder

Some people just can't accept the fact that they need to find ammo, or learn to use the scope.

I find it fairly often as well, definitely more often than M24s.

I've only found the cz550 maybe twice I want to say. I find ammo all the time. Yeah, not as convienient as the M24 or DMR but I like it. It feels more like Dayz should be. It should be a lot more common. It makes me feel like a survivor, not a mercenary. I don't think it's a very good thing that I've found several M24 and DMR rifles in the same span only found 2 550s.

I might just be looking too much in military loot areas. Meh.

Exactly this. I should find an empty server and figure out how the scope works with my 75º FOV, but I'm a lazy sod who can't be bothered.

So every time I find a CZ, I get tempted into trying shots I don't have the skill to pull off and end up either eaten by the zombie horde that The Czech Dinner Bell brings or shot dead by the bandit who I just missed.

I've spent 100s of hours in game and I have never seen a CZ 550. I think I've seen every other weapon, but not that one. It's my white whale I guess.

Why can't you combine for CZ with einfield? Aren't they both same size bullets?

No they are not, the CZ is .308 Winchester (nope, not 9.3x62mm, that's false) and the Lee-Enfield is .303 British.
