What Kind of Player Are YOU?

Recommended Posts

What kind of player are you? Are you Sneaky, a Rush type of guy, or maybe a sniper? I am kind of a rush type of guy, mostly since I am impatient. So what type of player are you?

Sneaky Hero that prefers using a Hatchet and will avoid conflict and other survivors as much as possible. :)

During the day I'm generally careless of stealth within towns, simply because of how hard it can be, I'm not very friendly and I will kill another player if they are of any threat to me at all. I do steal from other players tents and vehicles, but I will leave them with some items as a way of thanking them for choosing such a bad hiding spot for their belongings. However, during the night I'm more cautious of being seen by zombies and other players, I generally don't kill other people because I know it can be difficult to see me. I rarely have player to player contact at night, so kills and deaths at night are rare. Also I do prefer to do all of this on my own.

When I was a bandit I was a sniper. Nowadays I enjoy sniping still *only zeds* :) I am mostly a sneaky hero that only fires when fired at. ;)

Bambi was a deer in a movie, and a bitch is a female dog. That is something to think about right there :P

Sniper. Ghillie, DMR/M14 and AS50. I scout towns for Zombies and take a vantage point on a nearby hill.

I play it like Gollum.

I hide, I sneak, I run away and I steal shit when you aren't there.

When I play lone wolf I play as a friendly and usually stay more up in the northern and western parts of the map. I will only fire at someone if they are a direct threat. I'll even heal a bandit but with a lot of caution.

When I play with my squad I usually go as the driver or I am the spotter/assault medic for the group. I'm definitely more inclined when with the group because we generally have vehicles and high end gear.

I almost always sneak around, but I do grow impatient and rush to buildings and such. I'm also rather clumsy....wel...really clumsy. For example, despite me having a Makarov, I couldn't kill a player who ran towards me from about 20 metres away with a hatchet. And today a zombie ran at me, but I thought he was a player as I heard someone speaking over chat. So as this zombie chased me I was screaming into the mic "FRIENDLY FRIENDLY DON'T KILL ME".

Without a vehicle, stealthy is the key. Lauren Danger the wilderness ranger, staying out of the way and living off the wild creatures, drinking from ponds, all those things. Yes, I still shave my legs. Just in case your were worried. I'm not that far gone into the wild mode. Eww.

Never fire first, always give a new spawn a gun if possible, and simply move along after helping, vanishing into the forest like the Littlest Hobo.

After 30 minutes, to an hour, depending on your luck, you have obtained everything you need...so I do as Welch does, otherwise it's a useless bore fest.

This "game" needs to implement objectives...fast, otherwise after about 30 minutes most people just go on a killing spree. There isn't anything else to do. Explore? I already know the whole map. Airbases? Already have all equipment I require. Visit towns, and barns? Been there done that.

So "killing bambis, fucking bitches, and clobbering baby seals", is what we have...until we get killed in a zombie apocalypse. I used to choose elektra, get them all raged, and kill until I ran out of bullets, now, with the new patch, even that has been taken away...no more zombie hoards to kill.

This "game" needs objectives, otherwise it will just fade away. Even in survival everybody needs to have a goal in mind...otherwise, what's the use?

Lone Wolf, usually wandering around Chernarus to visit places here and there, avid supermarket consumer just for the fun of it, unlucky owner of disappearing tents, occasionally close to Cherno and Elektro to see what's going on be ready to support players being chased by Z or wounded and in need of a blood bag.

Mostly travelling from forest to forest and scanning the treeline with binos before moving. Killed only once by a sniper in the forest around Green Mountain while stalking a deer stand (where the sniper was? I suspect top of the radio tower).

Armed with military weapons, but almost never shoot, countless Z killed with the hatchet or tricked on steep slopes (e.g. the ones near the farm N of Elektro).

I can wait in a corner for hours, just waiting for someone to walk by. Then I smack the guy's face in with a hatchet. He dies. Moments later, I get killed by zombies. Repeat.

I sneak around and usually stalk, kill or help players. Depends on my mood.

I am usually the passive player. When there are man people on, i usually proceed very cautious. If I see other players I observe from distance and avoid confrontation. I give every player the benefit of doubt, and only engage those players who attack me first and leave me no way to escape safely. I always try to give players that are approaching me a warning by voice, giving them enough time to react.

But of course, if I catch reports about a sniper in my area and I see someone matching that description, he's toast. Not killing me with the first shot and being in range for my gun is the last mistake one makes. Not looking behind me is usually the last one I make.

haha, I know the feeling. I was running around a while. M9 SD, CCO SD equipped, AS50 in backpack.

Managed not to shoot a singe bullet with as50 and only 1 mag with cco SD in a week, because I only evaded the zombies, lost them in bushes or took them down with my m9. For a while, when mp5SD was very common, I had 3 of them in my tent and was always running around completely empty, with just mp5SD and 4 m9SD mags equipped, because I didn't really need much more, and if I died, I just ran back to my tent, getting another one, without risking my "collectibles"

Sad thing is.. the only reason I wanted to find m107 and as50 was to have them in my tent. I think I shot 2 or 3 bullets with those rifles ever, even tough I owned 3 m107 and 5 as50s when I had my own server...
