I don't have a problem with there being different servers which cater for other play styles, but i wouldn't want there to be any cross over.

If you play an "easy" server then you shouldn't be allowed to jump over to a "normal" one just because you got geared up and feel bad ass.

Rocket decides "I'm making a game"

He then makes the game, and we play it. THATS IT.

Just because we think stuff should be in it doesn't mean its part of his vision. He may use some of the stuff we say as inspiration or problem solving, but if it doesn't fit the concept then its wrong.

If an artist paints a picture, you dont say "I wanted more red in that." You may say you do or don't like it, but its up to him what to paint and up to you to choose whether you want to buy it.

I hate the infinite servers with all their options. Whats the real DayZ then? Which one is closest to what Rocket wanted? Not many I bet.

The idea of easy setting is also a relative term.

Many people consider allowing 3rd person to be an easy mode.

The servers that would be hive connected would be Rockets true vision of the game I suppose.

What we're saying is that having easy servers would defeat the purpose.

I've gone through all the stages most players go through, and I think the lowest was when I had tents with infinite respawning end game loot. I just stopped caring and decided I don't want to play anymore until SA.

The only 'Easy Mode' should be single player (which I don't think they'll be doing) thats just you and the zombies, no Survivor/Bandit/non-zombie/non-animal NPC or AI at all, with no transfer of any items to a server.

I agree with "Pathetically Easy Mode" and Here is why:

The Main reason why script kiddies and hackers do what they do and try to ruin the game is because they have no skill and will never be able to play Dayz properly. Just look at all the "this is why I hacked" threads:

"awwee dude I ran down the train tracks into cherno and some dude shot me for nooooo reason, screw that I'm goign to hack" QQ, wha wha, looks in the mirror and cries, then masterbates to gilf porn ect.

Failure is part of learning. Overcoming your limitation is where you feel you became a better player. Newcomers don't need an easier game "to learn the ropes", it's like saying you need to know everything about a game before considering playing it "seriously".

This isn't a competition game where you don't want to rub shoulders with experienced players until you trained enough. It's suppsoed to be an experience, and learning how the game work, as a newbie is part of that experience.
