This all true. But it will always be true. People are going to mod the stand alone to play it the way they want no matter what Rocket's vision of the game. The more I think about it doesn't even matter.

The idea of easy setting is also a relative term. Many people consider allowing 3rd person to be an easy mode. The servers that would be hive connected would be Rockets true vision of the game I suppose. Calm down though. This is not a personal attack on you.

I like the game for the same reasons you do I think. My first hours were frantic. I had no idea what I was doing and it was great fun. And then a gif of xzibit calling me a faggot appeared and I died. I don't think some of these options would really be that difficult to implement, but that's beside the point.
