Custom faces?

The admin of the server I have been on frequently has a skull for a face, how do you do this?!?! :lol:

Google custom faces for Arma 2 not all servers will allow them however, but you can download them and then load up OA and change your player skin through the profile screen

I have no experience in doing this.... But I have seen them too ingame and from doing a search on google, found these: http://imgur.com/a/FAWIn

However, I would caution you to using them and to first find out if they are supported on the server or even legal (ie: not seen as a possible hack or exploit).

Otherwise, I would like to state that by doing this it is your and your own choice so whatever happens the results fall upon you. :)

Hello there

There is no hack/exploit issue.

Many admins set the max file size to 0kbs which results in not being able to use your custom face. It's simpler to choose from the set list of faces/voices. At any distance it's hard to make out facial details regardless, so isn't really worth it IMHO.

As a matter of fact, the custom faces don't even display unless you're within like 30m of the person.

Ok so I have my new face 'Walter White' Yet I can only select it on my other profile name which I obviously don't want (people know me a bit in game as 'Chuck Morris'. what do?

You put it in your other profiles folder as face.jpg.

just label it "face" and make sure it's in jpeg format. I've seen dudes with a file that is actually ("face.jpg.jpg") because they didn't realize that (whether or not the extension .jpg is shown in the name) the extension is already considered part of the name. I am a blow up doll

Otherwise search for ArmA 2 face addons/face packs on BI forums or Armaholic.

I think wipman used to be the man in Armed Assault, but I don't know if his face packs made it to ArmA 2.

I just checked my forums, we got a giant threat about ArmA 1 faces, but very little on ArmA 2 faces. For some reason I lost interest in custom faces in ArmA 2. Maybe because I liked one of the default faces.
