1. Be as invisible as possible at all times.

1) Find a hatchet and a backpack big enough to hold a gun

2) Find gun for bandit encounters

3) Meet up with Littlepip and her entourage

4) Hunt bandits or find a vehicle. Whichever comes first.

I like to shoot someone unconscious, drop nice equipment next to them, and revive them to only flee. Why? I don't know!

So what 3 things or rules do you try to abide by when playing DayZ.

Mine:

1. Always try to find a hatchet first

2. Never kill a player without reason

3. Try and stay around Cherno and Elektro, sometimes out to Balota.

That's what i do nowadays anyway. Yours?

1. Always head to the closeset Military spawns immediately after spawning.

2. Once a weapon is acquire kill anyone that I come in contact with.

3. Find vehicle to drive around looking for zombie spawns. Look for players near by to kill.

4. Once vehicle is acquired go north looking for chopper crashes.

5. Shoot out 1-2 wheels on all vehicles you come in contact with.

1. Never leave the coast without meds and hatchet unless meeting up with squad.

2. Avoid killing other players unless they're a bandit or show hostile intentions.

3. Help others when possible.

Or if I'm in a funky mood:

1. Pick up every tin can and empty bottle I find for throwing at players.

2. Find a hatchet for zombie work.

3. Run around the coast shouting crazy talk in direct.

1. Look for basic gear while leading a zombie train through populated towns.

2. Walk out in the open while never attempting stealth leading to my inevitable death.

3. Laugh at my recent death and go back to playing.

Or if I find a vehicle.

1. Drive around until I finally destroy the vehicle, if I see zombie spawns make sure to honk horn.

2. Go on high object and whisper kick off to my death.

3. Laugh at my recent death and go back to playing like moron.

Well, these are the 3 basic rules that I stand by:

1. Do not shoot on sight, except for bandits. (up until a few days ago, I didn't shoot any bandits on sight even if they say they're friendly, but that has long changed, since he backstabbed me while giving him a transfusion)

2. Run from a gunfight, because I'm not really good at the game.

3. Get to Elektro as fast as I can. (I don't know why I like going to Elektro, because I usually tend to be murdered horribly there, but it also happens to be the center of the action, especially when playing alone, because I'm too bored to go to NW alone)

1. Find a weapon

2. Figure out where my friends are and move in their general direction.

3. Kill anyone I come across that aren't my friends because they almost certainly have something useful, even unarmed players... They make good target practice anyways.

4. Find a vehicle

5. Use the vehicle to find more vehicles

6. Stash a backup vehicle and go around killing players.
