Changing In-Game Name

main menu > options > player profile

I believe thats the gist of it may not be exact youll figure it out with that.

^ For this post, you are obviously opening ArmA II to do this. Just in case that makes more sense.

You usually can't change the name in the default profile though.

You have to create a new profile and re-apply any custom key bindings.

Ah thanks, I tried that a few times but it doesn't seem to work

Do I need to do anything else? It still uses my default name

Load up a game in DayZ

When you get to the part about Connecting, instead cancel - this will take you to a menu where you can select Player Profile.

In Player profile choose edit or New.

Close down and restart. Your new/edited profile should be on view for you to connect with.
