Poll of best mid range weapon

Depends on situation. Up against groups? M249 is unbeatable, the RoF is devastating, and you don't really need a bipod unlike the mk48. Vehicles? M249 doesn't have the 7.62 that a mk48 has. Although, you can still down tires and get through windscreens with ease with the m249, so I'd pick one of those. Single targets? M14 has incredible accuracy, and high damage, so I'd go with that. However, the m4 holo can fill all of these roles. Nade launcher for groups and cars, good sight and low recoil with fully auto makes it pretty great in every way. If I could have any gun I wanted for the situation, I'd go with what I said above. Otherwise, M4 holo.

Also, where the hell are all the AK weapons? I personally don't like any of them, and they wouldn't change my decisions, but I know some people would pick some of them, especially the AKM.

Mk48, people say about muzzle jump but its easy enough to just loose off a single shot,

and as long as round contacts flesh - dead.

If contact at very close range, then just light them up - 1 second burst will reduce anyone to swiss cheese. I have nothing but praise for that weapon, ive even managed a headshot at just over 600 meters single shot, love it!

For me once i find an AKM i stop worrying about finding other guns. Lots of ammo and zeroing make it perfect for me.

However i do like the M14.

its not loud AT ALL for a rifle.

its def not underpowered..

and lastly its not a shotgun. it merely uses shotgun ammo art as a placeholder (cuz rocket never got around to fixing it with proper ammo art)

its actualy a reg. rifle like a enfield (but less loud/powerful)

but feel free to continue to think its loud/gutlees and a shotgun.. makes no difference to me

Mk48 is the best of those, for sure, but it's so hard to get it's not a really good "favorite". I have trouble finding M14s lately, too. I only ever get them from dead players anymore. When I'm actually playing, I'll drop anything for an AKM. Common ammo, serious damage ouput and easy-to-use sights make it a great choice for killing players and zombies alike. When I have an M16 ACOG or M14 I always feel like I need to be more conservative to protect my prize, but with the AKM I'm all battle, all the time. No need to hang out on rooftops or go around cities or find a silenced pistol, AKM does the job.

I merely stated that it is no where near as good as it was, there's no need to get mad. I am well aware that is is still a decent weapon, it just used to be better.

And for the record, I used it ALOT before it was nerfed, I even netted a 200m kill with it on a player who had a Mk48

Everyone used it before the nerf. It was simply the best weapon. (Overall, obviously an enfield is better for pvp pre-nerf)

The LMGs are just too inaccurate at a mid range. If you want to make sure you get your target first shot I would go with the M14
