DayZ Podagorsk testserver up and running! Created by Umi!

How to play:

1. Download mod files:

Podagorsk Client Files

2. Extract the archive in your Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead installation folder / The same folder where @DayZ and so on is located.

3. Install the lates beta patch / at least 100296 : http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php

4. Go to your Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead installation folder and find "Launch Arma2 OA Beta Patch" - Shortcut.

5. Right click on it and click on properties. Add "-mod=@dayzpodagorsk" at the end like in the picture.

6. Save.

7. Start DayZ via the edited shortcut.

SECOND METHOD TO START IT UP:

Start Arma 2 OA Beta Patch without editing it via that shortcut. Go to Expansions in the main menu. Activate @podagorsk.

8. Filter for DayZBrahs to find

- "DayZBrahs EU Podagorsk [TEST](.56/100296) hosted by www.dayzbrahs.de"

or just remote connect with this ip:

First of all we need a solid base of servers before he can report it to DayZ Commander, from what I know.

Hmh.. I'll give it a go :-) Looks fun, especially interested in the Military Clothing. Is there something needed to get it, or are they found throughout the map, such as Ghillie / Camo?

every skins is avaible only through the humanity system.

Level 1 Hero 5000 Humanity, Level 2 Hero 10000 Humanity, Level 1 Bandit -2500 or -5000, Level 2 Bandit -5000 or -10000 Humanity, if you go back to normal Humanity you will get one of the custom Survivor skins like priest or lingor island survivor skin randomly.

Edit: yeah the military skin is maybe level 1 bandit, level 2 bandit or level 2 hero.

Kind of a cold map.. Is there any warm clothing??

Also 75% of the map is just wilderness with almost nothing up north.

that wilderness up north can be used to add custom cities / bases / camps - that is what we are planning after the testing phase

Played the map for 6 or 7 hrs straight, the more I played it the more I liked it, it is a beautiful map, well balanced with lootable towns and military spawns scattered throughout, only found 3 vehicles I expected more in a new practically empty server but never mind. One bug I found was that there is a gap between the doorway and entrance to the castle which you can't get across without falling to your death. Otherwise a very good map, with possibly the largest airport in DayZ ever!

Nice map, one thing I noticed is on restarts that the contents of vehicles are vanishing. Lost 2 car fulls of goodies already... couldn't find a tent when I needed one. Nice work tho, would be cool to see it on Dayz commander at some point.
