Finally! I found NVGs!

I've been playing DayZ for just over 400 years now (I lie) and have never found NVGs until today. Crawling around a crashed heli I see "NVGs" and think, "Nah, I've gone mad. I'm dreaming." But there they were, and they are beautiful. I've worked hard to find those things and I deserve them. I'm so pleased, I feel slightly high! :thumbsup:

Now would not be the time to say "oh yeah, I find them all the time, I've got 196 spare pairs" :huh:

I found my one and only legit set in the top nw airfield barracks , i was so excited i crashed my A10.

Think I've found one pair on spawn, one on a tent, and one on a player who got way too aggressive. Cant remember owning more that three pairs.

Well done...most likely that other crash sites will have NVG too (had that experience once) so if you get another one dump it on your tent!

Everytime I find rare item I cant enjoy it.

Found a M14 AIm and had it for like 3 hours, didnt fire it once and I got killed.

But damn! I love the game still!

I found a pair, then next loot spawn found the SVD_Camo - Was very happy.

Jumped into a chopper with my mate....lol I commented on how his flying skills have improved. Next thing I start seeing the ground. Na thats desync Im sure of it. Then your dead screen pops up...lmao, my mate gets kicked from the server. He logs back in and gives me the coords, I respawn and head to the crash site. As soon as I seen my body it disapairs.....Oh well thats Dayz for ya =)

I should be in bed. I've been so busy with housework after Christmas, and then got a hair cut. I've not had much time to play at all today. Though that's probably not a bad thing. I noticed one of my regular servers has become inundated by people whose first words are "Whaddaymean no killing other players?" and second question is "Who's going to stop me?"

So the twenty minutes I did get to spend on dayz were all I could face. You killy-people types scare me. :o

don't worry sula, eventually doing all that house work will earn you the CLEAN skill

+20% broom, mop, and dustpan damage

able to clean up the corpse of you dead enemy in exactly 10 seconds

Drawback:

after using cleanup corpse ability 50 times, you break a bone (your back bone :()

I haven't seen anyone with them since I switched to a private hive. I am sure that the main hive doesn't have as many as it did back in August and September.

I miss having NVGs. The only ones I ever got were from hacker tents I stumbled upon in the woods or from idiots who spawned themselves all the military gear just to die while banditing in Cherno... though I did find a broken pair on Namalsk and greedily picked them up anyway... and then remembered it was a daylight only server >_<

Now that you have them, do the right thing, and loot in the NWAF on a dead 3am server :o

I found them on a bandit in Cherno. Haven't found any in loot though :|
