Well they weren't scared and defenceless. They had weapons and how do you know they were camping there (snipers)? It's pretty hard to camp on Namalsk due to all the peaks and if they had EVR occurences in the server, that would be even harder. Did you know there are snipers on DayZ? I sure as drokk did, and I play accordingly with that knowledge. If two of my team mates had been downed by a Sniper we would have taken different steps so that we all didnt die. Sounds like you are a lil sad because you don't like to get killed by other players, this is part of the game. They are obviously out to kill people, like many players are and I thank them for it, it's all the fun of the game. Don't have a cry about it, he was trying to show how stupid their tactics were and sounds like he is right.

EDIT: All the whinging about snipers! They are on the loot table for most servers for a reason. You are aware of that so stop persecuting players when they choose to use them.

or shooting them in the face. Everybody can't be good or chivalrous in the game or the game would become farmville forest walker 1.0 (which i think people are getting there now).

Obviously no one here has ever even logged into namalsk, the dam has a bridge and then a little compound, they were maybe 10 seconds away from being in the compound.

We got a bunch of call of duty children here complaining about "camping" "and cowardly tactics". If you want to squad vs squad with mid range weapons im down for it any time.

Most of the hate about "camping" and "snipers" here seemed to come from the fact that someone called the people getting fired upon "pussies", which is deliciously ironic.

I agree with you though; if you are going to kill someone, it is best to do it with the least amount of risk to yourself. That's just common sense.

In Dayz, you've just admitted to being an asshole in the game. While it is a way to play the game, you shouldn't be offended when others think you're an asshole. You chose to shoot at players that caused no threat to you just for the sport of it, you deserve no praise for that. And then you mock your targets when their Fight or Flight response makes them do something irrational from your perspective. You're not only an asshole, you're also delusional and unintelligent.

Of course it's douchey. But it's also part of the game. The whole point of the game is that a significant number of players are going to act like psychopathic assholes. You have to assume that some sniper is camped in every hilltop. You don't know if that helicopter is going to give you a lift or blast you with it's door gun. And yet I still see packs of noobspawns running down the middle of the street.

But like I told some douchebag sniper bandit this afternoon. Don't think you're a big man because you happened to catch me at Balota Airfield right after I spawned. Because you still fired 20 shots, missed all of them and were forced to come nearly within hatchet range to take me out.

Shooting bambis on the road to Kamenka might be part of the game. But it doesn't mean you're awesome at it.

Gee, I wish I could be like you guys and engage players from ranges that there is no way they could fight back. Sure is pro bandit skills there. I mean, if I were to coordinate an ambush with pistols and hatchets while they funnel through a mountain pass with thick trees, while tracking them silently for several kilometres and taking out several members of their team that fell behind the group silently, I would be nowhere near as pro as you guys with your big guns and big penises!
