How Much Blood do Zombies Take When They Hit A Player?

Recommended Posts

It's completely random, sometimes they barely scratch you, sometimes they Mike Tyson you and it's game over....

So there is no exact amount of damage... ah... DayZ is so sketchy...

I mean you can be knocked out from 9000 blood. knocked out = they eat you = instand dead possible.

This means that two hits can kill you.

I expect its based on class, woodsman/civil/hunter and so on.

Don't quote me on that but....

I have experienced around 0-500 damage per hit. (Mostly 250-350)

I've had some hits that do little damage and others that send me into a crazy bleeding frenzy

I wonder if zombies can headshot, since when dogs attack you your legs break almost at once because dogs are at leg-level.

Sometimes they knock you down, sometime you bleed, sometimes they infect you.

Random damage sounds legit. All things considered, the zombies could be of various sizes, conditions, and in various states of decay. Also, their attack is inconsistent by nature, they could barely scratch you, or they could tear your flesh open and rip half your arm off. It all depends on certain factors that would be too much of a hassle for too little gain to implement.

Set damage for zombie attacks would be a little weird. Though, I suppose the same could be said of all melee attacks.
