Windows 8 - Pardon if this has been asked.

I'm getting a computer next year, I'm wondering if DayZ/Arma2 works on windows 8? DayZ standalone is predicted to be the end of this year but since the specs aren't listed so I wont ask if it works on Windows 8.

Pardon if this has been asked, I couldn't find it on the search.

Considering DayZ works with Windows 7, Standalone will, in the most likely case, work with Windows 7. Therefore, of course, it will most likely work with Windows 8.

Hello there

Although the game should work with 8, how well does it work?

According to the Bis forums the game prefers XP over 7 so although it may well work on 8 will it suffer or will it run more efficiently?

thoughts?
