3DArtist, able to help on development of DAYZ

Dear Mods,

Is there any way i can get in contact with Dean Hall, i`ve been looking for all kind of ways to get in direct contact with him, but sofar i failed to find any email adress that i can send my email to. I`ve created a ticket for job employement, but still i don`t even know if he have time to check them.

I would like to help on development of DayZ standalone game as 3DArtist.

So i have decided to create this thread and offer my hellp on development of Dayz standalone game.

Here is my message to DEV Team:

Dear DEV Team,

I see lots of potentional in DAYZ as a standalone game, i enjoy DAYZ mod alot and i would like to help on development of a standalone game.

I would like to make this game even more immersive and much more enjoyable for a player by delivering a high quality product.

Currently i`m working as 3DArtist at Lukkien one of the biggest media company in the Netherlands.

Still i do have enough time to help on development of a DAYZ game, after my work.

I can be valuable addition to your team as "Modelling" & "Texture" artist those are my strongest sides in 3D. I`m also capable of a good shading and lighting in Vray, but that doesn`t count for a game :)

(Not all of the work is available on the website at the moment due to Non-Disclosure or WIP progress, although i can send you some of the screenshots of my personal WIP work thats not available at the website yet.)

Some nice work there oleg :)

Have just finished some model prop with DayZ concept in mind :) Took me about 1 hour in total to model+uv+texture :)

It`s not rendered, it`s just a printscreen straight from a viewport :)

I`ve been thinking what is a must be in Zombies world (DEAD BODY BAGS OFCOURSE) :)

Hopefully community made assets can make it into the game, this looks better then the body bags we have currently in the game.

It would be pretty cool if you can (instead of hiding a body) put it in a body bag and have the player (or other players) be able to go back and open

the bag and get some their things back; with the added possibility of getting sick or something.

Anyway good job :) :beans:

BTW, here is something new :) Military version of a Hatchet with more damage, lol :) Fully modeled /unwraped uv`s/ textured this morning:

Here is some WIP screens of my Mi-24 Hind :)

Only have to finish texturing and than it`s done (textures are of a quite huge resolution, every texture is build out of tonns of layers, this way i can later adjust camo or other parts of a texture on the fly :) )

For example: It`s possible to adjust the amount of rustyness or amount of dirt in few seconds :)

This model is not "Game-ready" (in terms of polycounts and detail), i`ve modeled it with a mindset of using it in CG :)

Awesome work you have there, besides the Hind, did you actually add the corpse and axe into the mod, or are those not optimized as well?

I just wanted to create my own Mater from Cars and here it is :)

Took me about 7 days to create this image (model from scratch, uv, texture, lighting, shading)
