Suggestion to Rocket

Recommended Posts

Well, as the title says, I want to tell Rocket something. I think he should release screenshots from the game every 2 weeks as to keep the enthusiasm of the players. I just want some pictures like the one he released a few days back, just like that. Minor details in the game could do just like the new guns being held by the players (in First Person View of course). I would like that 'cause I left the forums a few weeks back because of the problem in the game and I don't have the Arma 2 CO so I don't have anything to play DayZ with and because of the hacking problem, I never did buy Arma 2: CO to test the game.

TL;DR: Keep posting pics of the standalone just to keep the players' enthusiasm. :D

The problem with him releasing frequent images of the game to the public and the reason everything is rather secretive at the moment is due to a certain other game with a similarly named title who seem to take ideas from DayZ, we've already seen how fast the other company works, so if ideas are released here they could be implemented over there before our stand alone comes out.

I welcome the secrecy, builds up my want for the game.

Oh, I forgot about that, well, I agree with you and Rocket over this secrecy thing and how you want to keep it but I am simply not the kind of person who doesn't builds up his want for the game without reassurance but I'll make an exception for DayZ. GO DayZ TEAM!

Knowing the mod is strictly a mod, the fact that it's becoming its own entity will keep me enthused until release day. Screens or none. Although those ones earlier in the week were quite sexy.

LVG basically said what i thought about it. Besides, I think of it as a Christmas present. A christmas present that will make me gain weight and make my girlfriend hate me. :D

I agree with you! That's what made me want more screenies! Those graphics looks very great even though they're only in medium settings. :D

I'm with you on this part. If I hadn't been so pleased with the mod, I'd need proof of awesomeness first.

Play the mod, that should be your reassurance since we already have a functioning product, though it's not perfect it's still there and for free, the stand alone can only be become better.

Nope, sorry sir but I am not getting the game until the standalone comes out. Watching Youtube vids about it is enough for me at the moment, especially if it's Frankie's vids we're talking about. :D

Rocket only posts when he's absolutely sure of something. He can take a while to figure out whether or not to put something in the game.

Well, we all now know that War Z is a steaming pile of crap. So, false alarm, everyone back to DayZ : )
