My name is Jay and I thought I would post here and tell you all about our new project, Clan Warfare. We are a gaming community with lots of different clans participating. I will explain in more detail. What we do and this project is all about; we run a DayZ Epoch Server with lots of add ons and scripts that maximize working in a team to survive and clan warfare between rival clans. We have our own new 50 slot TeamSpeak 3 Server dedicated to the Server, we currently have around several clans join us on the TeamSpeak and the Server and what we do is give leaders of each individual clans almost max power on the TeamSpeak so they can keep their individuality and be in charge of there own clan, ranks and channels. When it comes to DayZ everyone plays on the server is either arch enemies and rivals or team up to take on a bigger threat and a more geared clan that will take more of a beating. All clans on the server use the teamspeak and the server is constantly populated with 25-30+ members just with clan members the rest of the server filled with either public players or potentially new clans (could be you!) The more clans we able to get onto the Server the more competition and team warfare we can have, we have limited to amount of Heli's but kept the Vehicles relatively high. We want Heli's to be rare and fought over not clan warfare in the skies. We prefer to sort out our differences on the field, weather it be planning a raid on a enemy clan or defending a certain town or position. The competition is already high and we want to expand even further. The server is run by level headed people who are all about being fair. Not giving anyone a certain advantage and keeping everything to the bare bones and making clan warfare even more intense. With our server being on Epoch we greatly like the idea of clans fortifying up there defences with structures and locked gates etc. and give each clan something to work towards and something to defend. TS3 Public Server Address: bsbnetwork.enjinvoice.com Welcome to our DayZcraft, a DayZ Epoch server that combines the awesome horror survival PvP and PvE elements with the fun and creative elements of MineCraft! This server has a unique marketplace geared up for difficult survival and long term base & stronghold building. We've recently re-launched our popular and consistent server with a full server wipe and made some significant changes to the config based on player feedback and the desire to create a good server for base building and creative play. Naturally players who like the PvE and long term base building elements will enjoy this server as the relatively small population of regular users of this server means they can get on and be left to their own creative devices without encountering too many problems. We do however have a few "lone wolves" and bandits, who are out there to spoil the day of any unsuspecting survival players and groups so it pays to cautious! This is a bit of an incentive to get a secure stronghold up and running and to expand from there!   5. i'd like to drag also players bodies, not just unconsious people..let's drag everything! it could be done also for vehicles..if you first fix tires you should be able to push a car for a while, for sure on the road.

    No, Wasteland is not DayZ without zombies. It is hardly DayZ Mod without zombies. I don't know how you feel about DayZ but for me it is a survival game. Does Wasteland have tons of deathmatching and even military objectives? Yep. And also important, can you buy weapons in DayZ? Nope. Can you do it in Wasteland? Yep. Are you able to scavange buildings for food etc in Wasteland? Not that I know of. Are there tons of vehicles and even military ones in the world? Yes. As you see for me Wasteland lacks the core features of DayZ, which are to me not the zombies but the survival aspect. Wasteland is simply deathmatch, is there even any other objective but to kill others? Also in DayZ there are teams, in DayZ one of the most essential part is that you are on your own or maybe in a group. It is about not knowing if the other guy is a bandit or not. In Wasteland there is your team, you can depend on them pretty much even if you never met them and there are the enemies. So no real player interaction, but deathmatch. DayZ is about your story, not the scripted military objectives that you have to secure.
  7. I'm checking the new videos and pics from the standalone frequently, but I think 1 thing is missing. And that is more blood and dead bodies and body parts scattered all around the place. What happened to all the people from Chernarus? more than 99% of them died now lets say that there is 2000 houses or flats in Chernarus If we calculate 2.5 people per 1 house we get 5000 people 99% of 5000 is 4950 dead and 50 survivors 4950 dead people from which i would say about 90% turned into zombies, thats 4455 zombies the rest of them 10% died by some explosions and car crashes and gun fire and sh1t, that would make 495 dead bodies that can be feed on by zombies if they cant find anything fresh. 4455 zombies from which i would say one third got shot down, smashed into pieces, run over by vehicles or killed with a BB gun or some other stuff happened to them.... thats 2970 zombies still on a rampage and 1485 dead zombie bodies Blood now 99% of the people died lets make a average 4.5 litres per person I dont think that all of the blood from all persons were spilled but i think that an average of 1.5 litres per person is adequate So thats 4950 dead people times 1.5 litres of blood = 7425 litres of blood spilled on the floor, walls, TV and stuff Now I really would like to see in SA: 495 dead human bodies 1485 dead zombie bodies and body parts of them scattered all around chernarus + 7425 litres of dried blood spilled all over the place That would be more convincing of an zombie charnarus Cause now it just seems that the 50 survivors cleaned up the whole place

  12. Good morning people, as the title states, I am back in the buissiness and pretty confused after my months of break. Where the hack are all the vanilla-servers? I am a friendly survivor that wants to play the mod as a survival-game on a halfway crowded server. So no 300+ vehicles, no extra barracs, no OMGWTF-stockpiles of m14. No bullshit! All the vanilla servers I find are empty as graveyards and even offical hive servers got additional buildings and stockpiles of weapons. I am living in germany and am in search for a european server with active players and a real dayz-experience. Maybe someone could help me out. I would even join a privat servers community as long as its not all pvp-focussed and heavily modded. cheers
  13. Hey semi new player looking for group or clan to play with. Usually play on emerge, the pink or 10k vehicles server, live in midwest so usually get good frames and low ping on these servers. Play mostly 6-11 pm cdt and some weekends mainly on Saturday nights and usually anytime on Sundays. Anybody interested in new member hit me up, been playing fps shooters long time and can hold my own. Have mic and Ts/Skype. Mature Adult looking for like minded ppl. We have a ton of features as you can see from the titles, Our admins are nice and DO not abuse their power like many other admins I have seen. Some stand out features would be our bandit and military installments which have around 100 npcs for your raiding pleasure some custom areas with great loot and some other additional features I will elaborate on. Also, our server is clan friendly and would love to have some other clans on our server to play with. Our server is bambi (noob) friendly, their is a starting loadout that includes a gun and tuned up loot, vehicles and aircraft. We try to promote and "end game" or long term goal by making building easier, offering many crafting items and supplies at vendors such as cinder blocks, mortar buckets, combo locks and more. We also include many additional military vehicles and aircraft available through hero and bandit vendors. We are striving towards a PvP oriented server but because we have started recently lack the consistent population to do so. I would like to introduce you to a friendly environment Epoch Chernarus server! -Our server is running BattlEye and a few other Anti-Hacks, making the server practically impenetrable to hackers. But the actual server itself is going to be running scripts such as: DayZ Missions, Self Bloodbag, Sarge AI, and Tow and Lift(Limited)! -Our server has over 500 vehicles, and over 25 air vehicles, Armored and Tracked APC's and personel carriers are rare but there!     All very true. My base being destroyed happened a few days after another player flew over me and I typed on side a few mins after which in my opinion was sufficient to put the guy off the scent...it wasn't. Vehicles do move on restarts. When I was playing Taviana I had a Ural parked on a slope. It regularly slid into a tree and once was on it's side after a restart People also do the gentle base theft. Only taking a small amount at a time from a base you've found will mean the owners likely won't notice. The base will stay there and you can visit it several times, even camp it and learn who the owners are and when they play.

    Unrealistic. By your grammar (And this silly idea) I can guess that you're no less than 14-15 Years. Coders can't alter DayZ to suit your needs without prior permission from the developers (I think). No offence, but come up with a sensible idea that suits DayZ and the devs might (MIGHT!) take an interest. Not just an unrealistic idea that suits the lil' kids that are too cowardly to hide their vehicles.

WIth great admins and decent players its makes the game fun, but also can include battles with the admins or fellow clans that roam about Chernarus.     Again... Epoch Forums... Answer: Vehicles in Epoch have dynamic spawns across the map. Cars and such tend to spawn near roads or buildings. Helicopters and planes tend to spawn at random in the open. So the answer to your question really is, "Not even the Epoch Developers know, it is RANDOM."     how to kill a spawn killer with style

    There's a guy on these forums named Gonzo. Class act. Always willing to drop what he was doing to help someone out. Hero through and through. A server I frequented had a massive bandit clan and one day they decide to betray the Hero to the People. Most bandits left him alone because with Gonzo doing good deeds, the bandits could generally lean even more to the evil side and people would still play there. When the bandits wrecked his camp, was it to steal his stockpile of AS50's? Nope, he didn't collect weapons. All they got was his vehicle and a ton of medical supplies. Things he could use to help people. Then they mocked him relentlessly. I'm all for wrecking a camp as I hate hoarders. But when its a guy who does nothing for himself and only works to help people, that kind of pissed me off. I started mocking him in chat with them and slowly worked my way into their group. Twenty people strong, two of which I found out were using ESP hacks, and they let me in. Slowly over the next few weeks I did things I didn't want to do. I shot noobs asking for help and LOL'd in side chat. I shot out tires of hidden vehicles. All in the name of making these guys think I was like them. After a month I had found every location of everything they had which included all of the server's helis and good vehicles. That's when the fun began. I would creep towards Elektro, claim I was taking fire and ask for help. When the bandits came I would shoot them in the head and claim it was the sniper. I'd claim to have killed the sniper and tell them to come get their gear as I was full up, but would hide the corpse. I wake up for work at 4am and knew no one was on so I would login and torch a few of their vehicles. I would pick a guy who I knew didn't like another one of the bandits and tell him that guy was talking shit then a few days later after the vehicle got destroyed I would innocently add that maybe it was him. After two weeks of playing with their heads the entire group was ready to blow up. I had four separate sub-groups ready to kill all the others and grateful for my help in exposing all of their treachery. I convinced multiple groups to make a play at taking over the bandit group. Then, when everyone was ready for war, I sent a list of the coordinates to every camp and vehicle they had to some heroes on the server. The next day was like WWIII and none of them had the stomach to do much banditry after that. It was a shame that they spent their lives being assholes and picking on other people and the first time they have a real struggle, every one of them quit playing altogether.
