Some private hive servers have extra vehicles enabled. Don't agree with this but although they are technically illegitimate in the game, it might not have been hacked in.

2 Night Vision Fals(few mags), 3 satchel charges, 1 NVG, 1 Range finder, 1 gps, m14 aim, Mountian Dew. M16203, m4 Holo, m4 cc0, few pp19's(no mags) Looking for a vehicles or chopper on a good us based server, no nametags, 3rd person on, frequent and regular restarts. or, as50, m24, another ghilie suit or whatever random shit you may have. My home server has become overrun with hackers, it is time to move. Would like to start out with at least a little bit of what I have. (Hacker blew up our chopper) Let me know what you have. The following will be met, you will come alone, I will bring armed friends hiding with sniper pointed at your head in an area I ask. We will both meet unarmed. Also if you don't mind a low pop, hacker heavy server, I still have a VS3, UAZ car, and a bus.

The respawn rate, and respawn locations are completely unknown for vehicles. You can check locations where vehicles will often spawn, often, but there's no guarantee it'll come back there at any given time.

I had a pretty weird trip in yesterday. I ran into a building on the coast hiding from some zeds chasing me and found 4 heavily armed dudes inside standing on the railing around the top story or the building. All four of them were kitted out. They all had all the survival gear, knives, compass, maps, night vision goggles, the works. All four had that nice high end sniper riffle with the scope and silenced hand-guns. I tried talking to them but all four just stood there, not moving saying nothing. After a few minutes I put two and two together and figured they were hackers so I tried to kill them since they were lagging the server being there AFK like that. I shot each one of them in the head 3 times with their own guns and none of them could die. All four were in God mode.This was on a server with over 20 people. I also heard a vehicle drive right past me as I was running down the road but couldn't see anything, which was kinda scary. I'd like to hope there's not a group like that on every server, but I don't know there isn't for sure. As for other vehicles, I found a jeep parked at a castle one time. No one was around so I hopped into it and went for a drive which was fun.

Even if you ignore the ArmA 2 base campaign, just imagine for a moment.. Chernarus is a destabilized, eastern european post-soviet country that was hit by a sudden outbreak of Zombiecalypse with literally thousands of dead soldiers, crashed military force recon/assault helicopters from the UN(hence the european weaponry) military vehicles(destroyed HMMWV's everywhere), outposts(Military emergency base near fucking balota), bases and airfields all over the place because obviously the world tried to fight the outbreak with anything they had." so yeah, finding military weapons would be absolutely unrealistic! geez..I really cant see where the problem is; just look at *every* movie with a dangerous global virus outbreak/alien attack/supernatural danger. What is the first thing getting shipped there? Legions of soldiers armed to the tits to "suppress" the threat. Looking beyond established fiction, in a world.. - where people fire mortars over walls at their neighbours because they have different beliefs - where children are armed and trained to kill for their stupid leaders deranged ideals -where nuclear weapons of mass destructions are built to threaten someone else to not annihilate oneself with nuclear weapons of mass destruction do you really think there would NOT be a massive pooling of weaponry in places hit by a Zombie Outbreak threatening all of mankind? ps: rethorical question

So you could theoretically find a private server that you could have your Tent setup on, or a Vehicle simply for it's backpack slots? Log in there to store things, and then go to other servers to play/loot? Also you say Tents are glitchy, how are Vehicles? I saw that certain vehicles have storage space in them, so if they're less glitchy, could they be used to store things more securely? If that works I'd love to find a private server to join and just use a vehicle as a storage facility, a lot less of a chance of having it broken into on a smaller private server right? Any help or opinions on this type of thing is really appreciated.

From everything I have seen it comes from the ruined vehicles, which would explain why it's there in DayZ but not in Chern when playing on the Armoury. I have my video memory set to default, but it still hits for me. I haven't tried "flushing" my memory as mentioned above... but who knows. Right now I am just avoiding those areas. Don't really need anything from there anyway.

After playing this game around a week now I have always wondered what it would be like if everyone was "friendly" would we all be driving vehicles and possess the best guns would we defeat the zombie apocalypse or would we just have a 40 person group of hatchet wielding survivors? Tell me your thoughts on what would happen if we all worked together.

I recently started playing with a friend that i met on a different game and trying to teach her everything about dayZ is not easy. We are peaceful but when it comes to finding other players we come across to many that are out to just kill making us very weary about killing others that come across. I'm looking to find at least one or two person to join our group in our quest of zombie killing and finding vehicles. Would be nice to find someone patient and mature who just likes to play for the fun rather than skill. If interested send me a message! Also please be on the west coast. We usually play around 5 30 pm to whenever we get tired.

There are absolutely no vehicles or tents on one of the Servers I run, I used an admin tool just to verify if there were any vehicles on the server. My group's base is basically gone, the vehicles we had, the tents we put down, even my own base tents are completely gone. I am not sure if this is a hoster problem, the only file I messed with was the Battle eye ping limit one. Need more info, let me know.

the n my question would be where can i pull up player gam ids so when i report and record cheaters i have a solid gamid to connect them with? hackers tend to change there names. we had a hacker teleporting our vehicles away. I lost my UAZ and red car to this hacker. he teleported it on electro shore and when we saw batteye eye ban him the vehicles disppeared and we havent seen them since. even the bus is no where to be found. theres no way a bus just goes missing! I which vehicles respawn if unused for like 5 days. a lot of these vehicles could be in debug forest or off map somewhere and there will be no way to ever recover them...... main point how to i gather the hackers information so i can accurately report and record these happenings?>

That makes quite a lot of sense. The M107 is an Anti Material rifle, with a bullet so large I bet it can outsize your wiener. It's designed to penetrate armored vehicles. If that shit hits you, you'll be turning into the jam zombies put on their morning toast. The Mk.48 uses 7.62x51 rounds (which, according to the DayZ wiki, are the same caliber as sniper rounds, such as the DMR, M24 and CZ550). Combine that with full auto capabilities and you've got yourself an almost recoiless (at prone) sniper rifle.

I was actually thinking of starting a thread about removing tents and storage capacity from vehicles. Thank you for sparing me the rage and death threats. You're my hero. I will also add that a player should not be able to loot his/her own body. This may be pointless and not worth the effort, though, because if the player is in a group, his friends can loot the body for him and then throw his gear in the ground for him to take, but still. This, coupled with the storage in tents and vehicles, make death meaningless. I totally agree with the idea of making the game harder, too. Zeds are not a threat. Their only goal is to make players more visible to other players (which is saying a lot, but they should be dangerous on their own). Food, drink, and temperature are not a threat either. Surviving after the first hour of gameplay is only a matter of not finding any players. Making matches an item with limited uses should help.

Hello, For the past few days our clan server has had their vehicles suddenly despawn, even while using them. Almost every time we get out of them we select 'save vehicle', but sometimes they'll suddenly just despawn entirely while in use, once nearly killing two people who were in a fully green UAZ. Unsure how to fix this, is it a server setting we're missing or something more grave? Vehicles also seem to despawn while not in use as well, but it's not as obvious when that happens.

Hacker spawns in a out of game gun for everyone else. They all get kicked. Hacker spawns everyone in vehicles that arn't supposed to be in the game. They all get kicked. Hacker teleports everyone. They all get kicked.

There are various ways to fix these things. Things like kicking the player if they've got a gun that isn't allowed in DayZ. If you enter a vehicle that isn't supposed to be on the server (there are a certain amount of vehicles on each server) you're kicked. If your location changes too dramatically, you're kicked from the server. Point is things can be done, but they aren't being done.

I'm tired of it... .-. How can my group play without encountering hackers every day? It's like every day we spend hours getting re-geared because the day before we got hacked to death, only for the same thing to be repeated. What the fuck is the issue with this? DayZ has over 950,000 players and not a single fucking thing is being done about the scripters. It's even more irritating that anyone can use the scripts without being banned. The rest of the legitimate players are going to download and use these scripts, bypasses, glitches, hacks just because they're pissed that every other useless fucker is using them. What's even worse is that Rocket nor Bohemia are doing a single fuckin' thing about it. There are server admins that are attempting to do something about it. If the people who represent this game need some inspiration or advice on how to handle things, see this thread. Obviously you can't do anything yourself, so perhaps you should follow trend of someone who has less ability to protect the game from cheaters than you, the developers, the staff, the representatives. Point is, you can't do a fuckin' thing about it. Rocket didn't even acknowledge that the interviewer in got teleported to the 'Thunder Dome' for at least a minute. Keep in mind Rocket is indeed watching his livestream, so he knows that he was obviously teleported.In the exact same interview, Dean speaks about things he wants to add, such as indicators for bandits. Which would you prefer? Would you rather play without cheaters or would you rather know that the person you're looking at has a few murders under his belt? I understand that this is a mod that is currently in Alpha. But I've played several games in Alpha, Beta, or live. And this is the first one I've seen that scripters can spawn guns, items, vehicles, helicopters, etc. without even being kicked from a server. Why? Because they've completely restricted the access for the administrators of the servers. It's almost like they support the scripters. I'm sure this thread will either be ingored or be filled with trolls, but wait until you start getting set up in DayZ and instead of dying by a legitimate player, you die by some piece of shit that downloaded a script to do it instead of doing it themselves.

We're lingering around our camp, one guy is collecting another person who is injured and a buddy of ours is scouting. The scout is killed, so I immediately look up the road and spot the suspect. I kill him 400 meter shot with AS50. I run to the guys body and he had an AS50 TWS, Ghillie suit, coyote patrol pack, flashlight, bandage, and absolutely nothing else. No tools, no backpack, no gear, nothing. As soon as I finished checking the body, the same guy teleports on top of me and kills me. Member of the group is running to his body to find out his name (obviously so we can report him) the body is gone and the clan member is killed as soon as he appears in the area. This shit is fucking ridiculous. This is easily the tenth time my group has been encountered by a hacker. It's fucking pathetic that nobody is doing a single fucking thing about this. BI has their head up their ass, Rocket can't do a fuckin' thing, nobody on the dev end seems to give half a shit. The point of the game is being fucked by people who obviously control the game more than the people that have developed it. ==== We set the camp up that we have over a week period time. We set it up in hopes that we could end up with some sort of player vs. player action. Something fun to do with other legitimate players. The point of us gathering half of the vehicles and parking them in the middle of the map is so that people easily have a chance of finding them and attacking us. Fuck no. Appearently the only threat are script kiddies. Why play the game if all you're going to do is teleport on top of people and kill them?

Uses m107 rounds. The as50 rounds just do bonus damage to vehicles.

Would still be horribly abused to find camps and vehicles, spectator mode for admins should not be an option.

Yeah well done, although to come on the forum and completely lie saying 3/4 of us disconnected when there were only 5 of us and you claimed to kill all of us? Vehicles we never had any :) Fair enough brag away, but don't lie dude ;)
