Hey guys, Spoonfed here. I have it on good authority that Vilayer.com is about to release the first iteration of their DayZ Takistan Map. It to the best of my knowledge will be like Lingor and require a Client Side download which they will probably assist DayZ Commander in setting up a download option like they did for Lingor. This is going to be released as a part of Vilayers DayZPackage Server Option. Worth every penny. Servers are lag free, logins are near instantaneous. Tents and Vehicles have been saving properly for weeks. PM me if you want a referral. Otherwise they are not hard to find.

*facepalm* Admins don´t have such Powers. So if you can take it no need of this post since you got killed by one Edit: Seeing as there seems to be quite a bit of confusion regarding what exactly constitutes admin abuse, this thread will shed some light on the issue. First things first, understand what admins are capable of doing; - Lock the server - Restart the server - Password the server - Restart the mission in-game - Kick or ban players These are the things admins are able to do. They're not necessarily allowed to do them. yeh, ive been thinking about wiping the vehicles tables (vehicles, tents, hedgehogs, wire, sandbag) for the new update. im sick of all the dupping that has taken place, coz of the bugs. what do you guys think? and since vehicles and tents should save proberly after next update, it would be a good idea to wipe the object. still keeping character data ofc. and the server team is testing the new spawn script updates, so hopefully theres a new spawn scripts soon. the vehicle problem (randomly dissappering) could also be solved by a DB wipe and reinstall i think. btw, how exactly did it disappear? could help me find the issue. EDIT: BTW i dont believe that L85a2 RIS CWS is a part of dayz. the correct one is L85a2 AWS. so its most likely a hacked weapon... another reason to wipe. EDIT2: I made a poll, go vote people :D

You said hackers Ural, I was just throwing it out there that it may not have been a hackers Ural but simply a Ural full of duped items. If he is vehicle hoarding i think he may have been able to end up with all of those vehicles, I don't see why those items would be there in that amount and why you would bother having that many if you spawned them in. They'll simply disappear after reset... If you steal one and it stays on the server, it wasn't injected into the game.

So about the tents and vehicles. What happens if I put stuff in the tent and save the tent after that. Then take some stuff out from the tend and DONT save the tent. Will the server restart bring back those items that I took out after the last tent save? :huh:

Yes we are, and all vehicles and tents seem to be saving properly!

Not sure about all guns but I thought you could only destroy vehicles with the AS50 I know that is 1 shot to the rotor and it's down for sure P.S. love your avatar :)

Since vehicles are saving in DayZ now, THANK GOD, I am learning that I need to be a bit more careful with any vehicles me and my mates get put together. Does anyone know of a comprehensive list of vehicles and how many shots it takes to destroy them if hit in multiple locations? For example, how many shots does an M107 take to down a helicopter if the bullet huts the under side of the hull? What about the main rotor? etc. Any help is appreciated! Thanks

My top 5 guns 1. Mk 48 Mod 0 2. AS50 (w/NATO rnds) 3. L85A2 AWS 4. M4A1 CCO SD 5. MP5SD6 Mk 48 Mod 0: Most powerful LMG (along with the M240). Accurate and has red dot sight. Ammo mags are large capacity and relatively easy to find if you ever run out. AS50: Everyone knows why - used with NATO rounds this is the most powerful gun in the game and essential for taking down helis or vehicles, never mind one shotting from >1 km away. L85A2 AWS: Even if you never shoot this gun it is worth carrying around for the thermal scope alone. M4A1 CCO SD: Probably the most effective of the silenced weapons MP5SD6: The quietest gun in the game, brilliant for sneaking in and out of areas and popping zombies in your path without making your presence known

So as the title says I am stuck unconscious. I cannot do anything and won't wake up. This has happened to me before but i was killed by some zombies. I'm not sure what I can do except wait for a friend or someone else to kill me, or epi pen me. If anyone would like to help me, or tell me some things I can try to become conscious please post. :) PS. If anyone would like to help me, I would be willing to give you free gear. Anything I have you could have. I have a camp set up with a few vehicles and tents filled with a ton of gear.

I've had no issues saving anything in vehicles/tents in 26. It seems to be working just fine.

For like the 1 MILLIONTH time, nothing can be done about it until they switch engines with the standalone as the arma 2 engine is too trusting, battle eye sucks so much balls that the game is turning into a hack or be hacked game. 3 different servers, 3 different times a hacker spawned all the vehicles in a place where nobody could get them now that they save. And from personal experience, tents are still broken but im 99% sure vehicles are not but cant be sure because of said hacker issue above^

For me though, I play on a Vilayer server on the Vilayer hive, and the last two days, our server has bugged out to the point where everytime we log in, our character resets two a point from two days ago. Vehicles reset every server reset and essentially there is no point in playing on our server because nothing saves. We've been waiting all day to update to .6 but alas, it's 12:30 here and I'm tired. with work and shit in the morning. I'm sorry PersonalJ, but it seems Vilayer dropped the ball on this one. I've seen a lot of servers running .6 today, but I'm really only interested on playing on ours because my stats aren't tracked on the others.

Looking for a private, password protected server. I'm a lone wolf who has been playing for a few months. Don't mind getting shot but being in an environment where that isn't the norm would be great. I have two total murders to my name and have never been the first to shoot. I pretty much keep to myself... just want to get away from all the hackers and. KoS nonsense of public servers... not to mention tents and vehicles not saving. Let me know! Soupee

I have yet to come across a hoard of vehicles although i hoard some with my partner I play with. we only have a Ural, UAZ, ATV, Offroad Truck, and Bike atm, have yet to get ahold of a damn chopper.

How can I detect people who use godmode/teleporting/other things? I look in my scripts.log and I can't find anything incriminating.. nor do I really know what incriminating is. I've used the cheat scanner and everything. I've checked create vehicles and nothing. I'm getting reports of someone teleporting and shooting everyone.

has the vehicles fuel being reset bug been fixed yet? Where can I track info on this?

My point was those with all the vehicles (Vehicles = money) shouldn't have all the vehicles, so I blow them up so they'll respawn and the rest of the server (United States) can have some of them. In other words, redistribution of wealth in a video game :P

I'm using the DayZ community createvehicl.txt, remoteexec.txt, scripts.txt from Google Code, and my server isn't logging shit. Everyone just got teleported. Someone earlier teleported all the vehicles on the server. None of that is being logged. The only line is in createnvehicle.log 25.08.2012 17:57:24: Denkan (213.64.92.148:2304) 9d196d85a6667466cf8e38d195353696 - #0 "DZ_Assault_Pack_EP1" 11:6 [0,0,0] #1 is that a cheat? #2 why isn't my server logging any of this
