most PC's have a single "beep" upon startup, it's standard conformation that the board has booted without error. Also has it booted since without problem? I'm going to look to see if there is any sort of issue with your card/drivers and that game that have been reported elsewhere. Ok done some research, not much to tell but there is some stories of over heating issues. First of all make sure you are using the most up to date drivers. Download HWmonitor or something similar like Aida 64 to have a look at what temperatures your stuff is running at. Lastly if you could you take a picture of the inside if your case please. Would like to see the condition its in.

Does sound like you may have put the jumpers in the wrong places (Hands up, i've done it myself). Can be Terminal depending how long you have had the PC going, take for instance my old MSI K-7 board lasted about 5 days despite me putting the wrong jumpers in, Day 5 came and it fried it'self at that point. Lesson learnt. But yes i would take it to a pro, i can only help with words and i bet it would be cheaper to get it fixed locally than send it to me :P Have them check the jumper set to begin with to have a look for any damaged tracks or scold/burn marks anywhere along the board.

I used to have a similar issue but that was because my Mic was running through USB instead of Mic IN. Goto your audio settings and select play back devices, make sure the one you are used is classed as "Default device" De-activate any others you may have. This will stop any confusion your PC may be having and ARMA should instantly pick up your DEFAULT device.

Nah it's only a warning but not one person has been banned for using the TS3 overlay, i am pretty sure BE are very aware of how it works hence as much as it's picked up as a cheat it will never ever be banned. Some mods you do have to be careful with, i had a close encounter with a texture boost mod that almost seen me with a ban... Seems it's unfair to have better quality and view distance than others :P

These topics are now bugging me since its all i seem to see. I solved the problem of DayZ and not liking it along time ago, it's a simple fix. Stop playing it.... I have, never looked back.

I totally agree with you, however if they add the feature that it fired similarly to the Garrand and not bolt action (somehow ARMA 2 takes the MKIII and gives it the firing characteristics of a WWI MK1 or 2) A brilliant all round weapon. good to fight with but excellent once you master it.

Reservedly i will be hesitant on any future "Dean Hall" creations. i've spent 2 years nearly with this project to see it pretty much fall apart. Being on the inside for an amount of time really threw me off Game development and taking part in any early alpha projects because and i'm not afraid to say it... the SA testing was a shambles. Best thing... i got a free copy of DayZ... next best thing... it's never getting installed again.

QQ'ing about a feature in a game that has huge optimization issues at the moment.... Who cares, it probably will be dealt with soon enough but it isn't a huge deal just now, only an attention seeking muppet would call anyone out on this one. So many other issues that need to be attended to before anything like this is fixed....
