Love these kind of statements. Where is the proof that it was an M4? You realize M4 and AUG sound pretty close right? And FALs, SVDs, VSS, Augs and UMPs are everywhere. These are all "super rare" guns, but its the nature of the dayz community. Duping wont be fully out of the game anytime soon unless public servers will be stripped of their restart function - which should be the case and could already be, as forced restart are not necessary for anything really other than resetting your death or some stuck car - or duping.

It has become apparent that because of the countless duped M4s floating about, Hicks and rest were of the opinion that it would still spawn. To be honest its really not that big of an issue, but trying to explain what is actually going on and trying to spread the knowledge can be so damn infuriating when there is people like ColdAtrophy around that just keep ignoring facts and maintain their blind, narrow-minded approach towards this topic. Especially when there is sorta big networks backing up the claims... I know various guys with 3-5+ strong groups dedicated to this stuff and apparently so does Mookie. Anyway. This time exactly 0 guns should be in circulation, so no more denying.

No, M4s do not spawn. Hicks can say all he wants. No idea why he would lie about it or whether he just doesnt know it cuz he doesnt play himself that much, but neither M4 nor its parts are spawning. Just like in 57. The only reaosn a lot of people had M4 in 57 was because it was mass duped across the field. It stopped spawning 2 days after 57 had a hotfix added. And in 58? No need to comment, quonset hut farming all day for M4s and mass duping as usual.

you guys keep arguing RL stuff... what for??? All the old folks I talk to playing Dayz, they always refer to real-life facts and situations and aspects. I tell you what, it doesnt mean fuck all. Dayz is a military sim and things have very limited factors and variables attached to them, as the game code dictates. Apparently animals do not have hitzones, even tho I find that hard to believe. Thats all.

ugh.. I cant say for sure but the fact that you constantly lose health/blood when dying of dehydration makes me think you wont be likely to get back up. If someone gave you water, food, then guaranteed tho. what stopped you from getting water earlier? :P
