Really?I guess I shouldn't turn up my resolution either... :rolleyes:Also the brightness and gamma trick doesn't work on all servers. Some just stay dark. I've also been on ones that will start off nice with everything visible and then somehow get darker over time.This "trick" uses low level ambient lighting from the moon to work properly. I'd say it is somewhat wrong but you truly cannot see shit when you're in a night server and there's no visible moon above your head. I must admit I used it aswell when it was actually usefull, they nerfed it down allot quite some time ago I believe. it doesn't make much of a difference from what I've remembered last times. but I rarely play on night servers now anyway.. unless I get sick of the zeds comming for me from miles away.I do remember when I used the brightness tweaking back in TES: Oblivion.. it really felt like cheating at times because the regular setting made it quite hard to navigate in dungeons but not entirely impossible or anything.. turning up the brightness just made it feel like every dungeon suddenly had some kind of technical evolution and invested in placing fluorescent light bulbs.
