Battle eye failed to update..

Recommended Posts

easier download BE dll from battleyes website both client and server save it to your desktop. Open your BEsetup under program files copy and replace both files into the folder close all start up a game as administrator and sit in lobby without entering server watch bottom left until the manual update has completed and enter the server wala fixed

http://battleye.com/downloads/arma2/new/BEClient.dll

latest client

you dont need the server dll, the latest client is enough (for obvious reasons)

you dont need to open BEsetup, just put the BEClient.dll into your \ArmA 2\Expansion\BattlEye\ folder

you dont need to start your game as admin, just put the new client in the right place and restart the game.

I had the same problem with the previous patch. I just tried a different server, connected and once I spawned in I just sat there and waited for it to update.

Hey man, I have had this problem plenty of times. Basically when you enter the player setup screen, wait for it to say 'updating battleye' (bottom left corner) and it may take a minute or two to update, shortly after it should say 'battleye updated' and then 'battleye initialized'. Once that is complete you can enter the game.

Hope this helps pal

The way I do it is go to steam, right click on Arma 2 OA and click properties. Go to set launch options. If there's anything written in the box that pops up, cut it (as in, highlight it and right-click on it and press cut). Now, close that box and properties then right click on Arma 2 OA and click reinstall battleye. Now go and and paste whatever you cut back in launch options,
