How would I hunt bandits?

Bandits and snipers do tend to camp near the areas of Cherno for fresh players, so watch your 9, 3, and especially your 6. If you are specifically hunting for bandits, look for the towel faced bastard, or a trail of bodies. Once you find one, all you need is a good aim and a gun, and boom, your bounty hunting career can begin.

Besides my full time job of Medic my part-time job is bandit hunting. So far I've bagged a bakers dozen of them bastages! Get an L85 with thermals, go on a night or close to it server and circle the airfields, military camp and Stary and the 2 main cities on the coast.

The hill above Balota airfield is also fairly populated on 20-25 people servers. Just approach it from north and check the pine trees.

KoS, a survivor is just a bandit who likes to pretend they are nice (I am kidding of course, they just have not had the opportunity to become jaded yet). On lingor, hang out around Calamar and look for trouble. The mansion overlooking the airfield in Calamar is a good place to start, or on the hill that leads away from the city (near the airfield). Pretty much look for people camping the airfield, but banditry on Lingor is not as easy to pinpoint because the entire map has places to go and loot that are worth the trip. I play as a bandit on there (because that is what that map is for) and kill people from a hill near the prison. I stay right near the road to see vehicles coming (I have a satchel charge on the road) and there is really no reason to approach from behind because someone running a non road route will likely come from the Southwest.

I locate in busy cities near the center of town wait for small arms fire until I see ****** was killed and try to flank the locations if I come up on them no bandit skin they walk... in addition the obvious sniper hills

Because of side chat no doubt, but are they really friendly or do you go group hunting? Grouping up with randoms and then killing other random people is not being "friendly." I love Lingor and I usually find other random people to play with as well, but it always turns into PvP hunts. That is what you are looking for but you still have your Chernarus mindset of trying to be friendly and you are attempting to justify your murders, who cares if you kill that guy who has an AKM he will find a new one within five minutes of respawn. Maybe you truly are the friendly guy (I do not murder everyone I come across and I can be friendly I just do not care as much on Lingor).

In Lingor I do not have bandit skin despite having over ten kills in my current life, humanity always resets to zero when you change into bandit clothing and if you do not get a quick murder will revert to survivor clothes. So a survivor kills me in self defense and then gets bandit clothes, now you come in and murder him thinking man I just killed that bandit sweet when in fact the guy was just a friendly survivor who was maliciously attacked by some douchebag named Zombie Jesus.

They are hunting players so let them find you, have your angles and ass covered and be patient.

Oh and be quiet, nothing says I'm over here like aggroing zeds and shots fired.. but then again two can play the bait and wait game.

In Calamar i have found bandits stationed at the large radio tower (?) and also directly opposite the ATC in the wooded area near the weird looking hangars.

I once crept up to the radio tower and saw around 15 bodies strewn below in the military compound. The bandit was hiding prone in the bushes.

Amateur solo snipers very rarely check behind them and sometimes you can creep up and place the muzzle of your gun on the back of their head.

Just have a good one liner ready if you do this. If not "Fuck you asshole!" in your best Arnie voice always works.

Go on side-chat enabled server, enter Cherno, give out a false location that you have a vantage point of and beg for help, kill any ragheads you see. Hunting is unnecessary when it's so easy to lead them straight to you.

027 075 (North of Prison)

023 073 (West of Prison) (Great for snipers - kill players as they enter or exit the prison as they run directly towards or away from you. Also shuts down 027 075 to some degree)

018 045 The only exit for a number of fresh spawns to get to the rest of the map. Please kill any bandits there, even I hate them.

025 048 Vidora. One of only two easy crossings onto the North of the map. They camp all around Vidora as its the main route to the Prison etc. Its all around Vidora, people vary on where they camp from buildings to the coast line.

047 016 Eastern bush area of Calamar. Bandits who have high gear and don't want to risk the close combat in Calamar and just kill fresh spawns.

047 043 Snipe geared players crossing to the northern parts of the map and Maruko Airport terminal.

028 071 Alternative camping point for the prison

028 062 Common sniper spot for the Airfield
