Remove rabbits, put snakes in place, would love this snake in the game but it is not native European:

Survivors hearing this sound in the forest would be terrifying lol

[FIX] Forgot to take NVGoggles out of barracks loot, they are now FULLY removed. [Note to Stapo: Dont Code at 4AM]

[CHANGE] RangeFinders Removed From the game as they had inbuilt NightVision

[NEW] Street Lights now work at night (Sort of...)

There are more updates coming in the next couple of days. We also will be getting some 3D modelers to make some custom buildings and zombies

I can not find servers =(, an error message appears when I open the game = Addon 'dayz_anim' requires addon 'CA_Dubbing_Counterattack' I click OK and the game works, but I can not find your server.

Search for Survive or SurviveDayZ. I am able to find them just fine. Also I will look into that error. It looks like the addons werent copied over

That error is Because your steam copy hasnt been made into ARMA II Combined Operations yet, to do this your must go into your ARMAII directory and copy the addons folder into your ARMAII OA directory.

also in your filter you must change Battleye from "Default" or "yes" and change it to "No" then you will see it.

ALSO EVERYONE DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE @SURVIVEDAYZ MOD UNTIL I HAVE RELEASED 1.03 LATER TODAY AND IT WILL REQUIRE YOU TO DELETE YOUR @SURVIVEDAYZ FOLDER AND REPLACE IT WITH THE NEW ONE.

nice work on the streetlights, i love playing at night (when its not raining) this mod makes it even more atmospheric especially when a light not too far in the distance suddenly pops. love it! nice work guys!

Just had a run through - awesome stuff!

Hung around Elektro and there were literally a 1000 zombies on the server. It was epic looking out across Elektro from the fire station tower and seeing Zeds everywhere. Also at present most people were friendly - this may have something to do with Zeds being a big problem to deal with.

Few things to report:

I think the zeds can hear the hatchet - me and 2 others were literally in the church for 15 minutes axing to death wave upon wave of zeds with our hatchets. They just kept coming so we eventually had to run for it.

Things got a bit laggy with so many zeds but i suppose thats to be expected a bit. My ping was quite high so it may have been my issue as well.

Lots of vehicles - in my hour long play i got a lift in a Little Bird, drove a UAZ and tried to help refuel a Chinook.

Awesome. Great job and cant wait for more updates.

as an east coast player ( who is free to play at night ), i found spawning in 100% darkness frustrating, and usually ended up quickly dead.

I like the idea of some kind of ambient lighting.

There will be two servers running the mod with opposite timezones.

im glad you liked it and look foward to 1.04/05 when we will introduce the construction system

Good changes, I liked it, I also had a bit of lag in elecktro, MANY ZOMBIES is amazing, but I think I can get a little slow when the server is full, but hopefully not, large backpacks make the game easier, do not think is good.

Yes large backpack may make it easier, but it will help you when the construction system is implanted

I'm not sure if this is normal but why do you have to jump through many hoops just to try this out?, I already signed up to your forum now I have to give you my email again and my Guid? Just a bit confused. Also I'm in New Zealand will the ping kicker be nice to me?

can you add missions as in wasteland mod? Missions are awesome and give you smth to do.

Is the mod playable now for all people? Will you release the mod for all so that everyone can start their own server with YOUR mod ?

Original dayz got broken and boring.

We will think about the missions system. Also the mod will not be released for anyone else to host it.

I know the forums are slow, we are currently working on fixing the database issue.

The mod server is down for database maintenance. It should be back up sometime tomorrow. We will also be releasing 1.04 soon
