I DO know some vague specs for it though.RAM: Somewhere between 4.00 and 5.00 GBWindows XP ProfessionalThat's all I know right now. Dancing.Russian.Man 1631 Posted September 24, 2012 The RAM is enough, at least. But that alone can't do much.Try finding out what is your processor and graphics card.( Go to Start > Run > write dxdiag.exe )
Kyzahh 127 Posted September 24, 2012 (edited) Minimum: Windows XPProcessor: Intel Core Duo 2.2 Ghz or AMD Athlon 2.5 GhzMemory: 4gbGraphics Nividia Geforce 8600GT or ATI 4650 or faster with Shader Model 3 and 512 MB VRAMDayZ is more demanding than normal ArmA 2 so I've upped some of the specs a little.Remember this is minimum so it will probably run averagely on pretty much all the lowest settings. Lord McThor 0 Posted November 5, 2012 If I can run the Op: Arrowhead demo will I be able to run the full game (and therefore DayZ)?
Mos1ey 6301 Posted November 5, 2012 If I can run the Op: Arrowhead demo will I be able to run the full game (and therefore DayZ)?DayZ is a bit more intensive than stock ArmA with all the zombies running around and whatnot. If you can run ArmA 2: Free or the OA Demo really smoothly then you should be fine in DayZ though. If it's choppy at all with stock ArmA then you probably won't have much luck. PracticalTactical 164 Posted December 21, 2012 Laptop graphics can't be upgraded which is why I always prefer to use a desktop.WRONG!If the laptop supports MXM its GPU CAN be upgraded. 98% of laptops cannot however. I had a laptop once that supported it, considered upgrading my GPU but chose to buy a desktop instead.
