Inception. 9443 Posted September 14, 2012 (edited) So I've found a chopper and have fixed up the engine, the main rotor assembly and the windscreen glass. Only the hull and the last thing are orange damage. Now, when I put fuel into it and then hop into the pilot to check the fuel, it says that there is nothing there.Help?EDIT: It is the hull and the INSTA that are damaged [orange]. aussiestig 681 Posted September 14, 2012 Everything has to be 100%. That includes all hull things, all windscreen glass, everything. Otherwise fuel leaks out.
xerriden 8 Posted September 14, 2012 You still need scrap metal to fix up the hull and various other bits on the chopper, should be good to go after that!

Inception. 9443 Posted September 14, 2012 Lôôkhttp://www.dayzwiki....wiki/UH-1H_HueyI did look. That was the first place I did.I've seen a video where one can repair a chopper to only half status and still get it working. 'Twas what I wished to do.
HaseDesTodes 315 Posted September 14, 2012 you can get the chopper working without repairing everything, but unless you have done so, fuel will leak out... you should fill some fuel (3-5 jerry cans) and then directly head for a gas tank where you should fill much gas inside. even with the fuel tank leaking you should be able to stay in the air for a longer ammount of time. when you are in a group of players you should drop them like 300m outside of industrial areas(not inside or you will spawn no loot), and let them look for the parts you are missing (mostly windscreen glass)...then once you have repaired everything, you will have a fully working/non leaking hueyand be careful it breaks faster than you might think
