Hello all

I know the game is in a test phase, plagued by script kiddies and that doors can kill me.

My backpack regularly eats my weapons, and griefers and KOS types are everywhere.

The inventory system is bearable apart from a few bugs and Dayz itself needs a beast of a machine to run.

The selfish dev's keep churning out fixes and updates and private hive are bringing all sorts of fun new mods and islands to the game.

The core gameplay is fun when it works and the community is lively to say the least

I have decided, that as everything's pretty much as it's always been that I'm just going to continue on as I usually do. Nothings changed.

But my ego is so massive that I had to start a new post and let you know about my general sameness of feelings towards the game.

Well Lok i agree with your smugness and no matter what i feel the same... aslong as im having fun, shooting Zombies and killing players just for the hell of it then yeah, great game, even though it's still an Alpha project :)

Are you joking about "the selfish dev's"? I mean, how are they greedy? Rocket, the guy who made the mod, pulled money out of his own wallet to make it. How is that selfish?

Just to clarify, my OP was a clumsy but gentle joshing towards the many "I'm leaving DAYZ" posts. It was 4am or so, so not my best post, but looks like the majority of you got it.

You made the right decision. Most of the people just rage and make QQ posts when they get killed by a hacker. DayZ is still in alpha and it is one of the best games I currently play. I wouldn't leave dayz not even if I get killed every day by some childish hacker.

Hello there

Slightly OT but the industry does seem somewhat lacking in innovative "off the wall" ideas.

Wolfire Games "Reciever" shows what can be achieved in as little as 7days (actually 9...it's complicated :) ) I miss the time before "the great consolian dumbing down".
