Man vs Wild 313 Posted September 7, 2012 I was wondering if anyone good give me suggestions on the perfect primary weapon for a lone survivor?I've been looking and it seems like the m14 has won it so far...
HaseDesTodes 315 Posted September 7, 2012 m4 sd... keep it silent and you might live longer
octarine 60 Posted September 7, 2012 Agreed with m4 but if you are going to avoid players, the m4a3cco regular with sd ammo will be silent to zombies even though you hear it. Plus it can use sd and regular STANAG so you have more options. Currently thats my primary qhile I search for sd ammo.
Lepryy 54 Posted September 7, 2012 Well a NICE gun to have is the M4A1 CCO SD.... BUT, the AKM is everywhere and ammo is extremely abundant.
Bad Science 23 Posted September 7, 2012 M4 CCO if you do not have night vision and play at night, L85 is pretty amazing if you can find one, M4 sd if you really want to go unnoticed. If you plan to purely pvp (hang out, look for players, shoot few zombies) m14 is my favorite. If you use it on zombies you will be in over your head quick however... xXxCrackSmokerxXx 4 Posted September 7, 2012 Going lone wolf, it'd be m4 cco, and DMR. Once you get NVG's you can use them with the DMR, unlike other sniper rifles
Bizmal 19 Posted September 7, 2012 Im not sure if there would be. I run with an assault rifle with common ammo. I also carry a sniper in my pack for them players!! Havin a rare gun with rare ammo leaves you some where with no ammo.

schrapple 119 Posted September 8, 2012 X2 on the winchester, or the M104 (even the double barrel with enough ammo will keep you out of trouble till you find a M104)
Axz 30 Posted September 8, 2012 BFG 9000.....What? You didn't say it had to be a REAL gun.
chris p. bacon 182 Posted September 8, 2012 We can't recommend a gun if you don't give us your playing style. For all we know, you could be a sniper and we're recommending M4 CCO SDs.
Littleassassin2 73 Posted September 8, 2012 Get a coyote pack, and get an m4a1 cco sd with a few mags, and in the backpack keep an m107/as50 with a few mags.

sostronk 334 Posted September 8, 2012 Winchester1866 or Lee Enfield. Both 1 shot Zombies, two shot players. Ammo is common and in areas that aren't so heavily camped.

fosty99 160 Posted September 8, 2012 Winchester is a pretty nice gun if you're going to be sticking around farmlands.
jblackrupert 308 Posted September 8, 2012 I prefer the AKM myself. The weapons you choose to keep should match your playing style.
Steve.C 23 Posted September 8, 2012 M16A4 ACOG.Uses STANAG ammo, so plentiful. Accurate out to 800m with practice. My primary loadout is based on PvP action initiated against me. I want to be able to reach out and touch my enemy without worrying about ammunition issues. The problem is finding M16A4s. I also like using AKM/Kobra/AK-74 as the ammo is stupid plentiful and they're decently powerful. AKM is very stout and very accurate once you've practiced and can guessimate ranges. If I ever had an L85, I'd probably be biased. Talk about being able to control a situation... long range target spotting and scouting capabilities mean scoping a town before infil is easy as hell.
