All through the entire time I have been playing this game, I have not found a single magazine for a SVD.

I have had the gun a couple of times but not the ammo, and in this instance I would like to get my hands on some anyone got any to trade?

Uh the UAZ spawn at Alter Mountain always has 10 SVD mags on it as part of its base inventory.

No SVD rifle though. That one is quite a bit rarer than the ammo.

Not to spoil anything but in the current environment just log off at Alter Mountain where the UAZ spawns and wait for the server to reset and log back in....bang, 10 SVD mags and 5 RGO grenades and a few other things.

Oh and a UAZ, if you care to repair it simply to lose it at next restart.

7.62 ammo spawns rarely, but reliably in the barracks at the NWAF. Scrounge it and you should find plenty of SVD ammo. In fact, I'm a little irritated that SVD and M240 ammo spawns in them, but rather than FAL or DMR ammo, AKM ammo pops up in them.

I thought I had found plenty of SVD mags in various locations at least I am almost positive, Ie... deer stands and hangars but maybe my memory is false since im almost never accually looking for the ammo. just thougt Id throw my 2 cents in.

Sometimes you can find ammo boxes at either the barracks [souther/northern] or at crashed helis that contain 10 SVD mags, 10 DMR and 10 M24 mags.
