I always head to cities now. I did the run north thing and it gets abit old after awhile lol Your death is more guaranteed in Cherno/Elektro, but I'm finding some fun experiences by being there. I'll probably get bored of that and head north again eventually.

I see no value in heading north. Running for 20 minutes only to get hacked to death isn't as fun as roaming the coast looking for people to shoot.

Well my home server has no hackers, probably because I heard than an administrator is running some kind of anti-hacker scripts, which you could say is a hack, but a good one.

I remember when I used to care about dying I would avoid Electro/Cherno always. Now I always go there. No fun avoiding people out in the wilds anymore. Besides dying is half the fun.

If you're a good, tactical player, then the choice is merely a preference.

Cherno has the apartments, but Elektro has two firestations.

Personally, I prefer a Kamenka spawn. 6 deerstands on the way to Zeleno. Bike spawn.

I used to do the Northern Run but it got a bit boring and with the hackers holding your life in their hands why bother with the effort?

Now i just hang in Cherno, though i occasionally venture to Elektro and Baltota. I dont care too much if i die i just enjoy the sights. Spawning Choppers, Auto-bot snipers, flying cows.

In serious mode though then definitely head north if you want to stay alive for any length of time. In the cities it is only a matter of time before you hear the pfffffffffffffffffffttttttttttttttt.............You Are Dead.
