How Do i use ArmA 2 DLC (PMC) for DayZ

I have seen videos of people saying they have PMC and it makes their game look better and stuff. I got it and like reinstalled Arma2 on DayZ Commander and it looks the same. Anyone know how to put it into DayZ??

It's only a higher res civilian, camo, ghille and l85 scope model, you should only need to install it.

You need to download/install it then launch it once.

Reapply the latest arma patch after you install PMC. 1.60, 1.61 or whatever. Then it'll work.

And don't forget to make sure that PMC (or any other expansion like BAF) is listed in the "Expansions" thingy in the main ARMA2 menu.

exit STEAM

start STEAM via "run as administrator"

run once ARMA 2, exit it

run once OA, exit it

now goto OA folder (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\STEAM\STTEAMapps\Common\ARMA 2 Operation Arrowhead\PMC\

erase that folder (or it's content)

then run PMC from the STEAM's games list

you should see installer doing some file operations

if you have BAF, do the same with BAF

and that's it, the only issue is when there are some keys not written

hence why i always recommend use the context menu option "run as administrator" to start STEAM

install dayz

install arma2beta
