Wow you really dont get it huh, thats the fun thing about green mountain, in my opinion every game needs a place thats "haunted", there are many awesome stories about green mountain!

They only do this because they want Rocket to add something to the standalone about green mountain. Which has already been said "Because Green Mountain gets so much attention on the forums, there will be something special added to it in the standalone"

The only 'mystical' essence about green mountain is the radio transmission when you go there. Other than that, it is a practically desolate, unappealing place to go. I only went to green mountain once, and I am not going to restart the game each time I go there.

I went past it once and nothing happened, fine, but that is boring. But if I write about ***'s words of warning on the Green Mountain, it becomes a lot more fun! Like this:

Radio. They make big radio, wake mountain. Everyone in Chenarus know mountain sleep for many year. Many year. We no dig, no build, no problem. Long ago, hundred of year, nobleman try to build fortress, but all worker and family dead. After that, no disturb, no trouble.

But then government say they build tower. Even then I was *** and wise, but just become ***. Still wise. No good come of radio, I say, but they call *** crazy. Now, the dead who no stay dead go there. You go there, they find you and eat you. And as wise ***, I know this. Dead no eat the dead, only eat the alive. Why? Dead thing hunger for warmth. If you dead, you cold, no feed hunger. But alive, even just tiny bit, you what dead who no stay dead want most.

That place has no history - unlike let's say a medieval "haunted" castle... At least there's some history there

The thought of supernatural forces can make anything more interesting. I know there is nothing on or special about Green Mountain, but I enjoy thinking that the rustle in the bushes was an unknown entity rather than a rabbit. A few days into playing the mod, when I was a noob playing at three in the morning, I walked up there to grab some loot. It was dark, and I didn't have NVG's. While leaving, I scanned the area nearby with my flashlight and suddenly saw a dark figure walking slowly towards me from further down the hill. I zoomed in, and it seemed to look at me. Then, it disappeared, but was accompanied by a sudden, loud shriek from some sort of string instrument. Naturally, that gave me a momentary fright. It was only a glitchy zombie and suspense music I had been playing in the background that had coincidentally been almost perfectly timed for the event, but still...I feel like I shouldn't go there.
