eel 47 Posted June 10, 2012 Last question - is it possible to have binoculars and the rangefinder equipped at the same time? So that the rangefinder would go to the right slot?
Legacy (DayZ) 1091 Posted June 10, 2012 Rangefinders are just a better version of the binoculars. Why would you need both?
salty (DayZ) 39 Posted June 10, 2012 The time it takes for your eyes to adjust between activation/deactivation makes its use situational at best. It's excellent for scouting and spotting, but it's not so good when you're in a hurry.

Guest Posted June 10, 2012 correct, me and hooligan (a buddy) had a rangefinder and a nvg, but only one of each.. i had a dmr and he took the rangefinder, whilst i took the nvgs, he spotted for me whilst i sniped, good stuff.NVG implemented in rangefinder much like you get a free map if you find a gps.
